    You should split the cabinets to have center opening doors, safer if you have to open them on the road or if you have less space available to open them.

    Curious if this truck gets the Edison conversion if they would integrate the welder into the truck’s generator or offer a welder attachment to other service trucks down the road

    Starting with a solid base like that even if you put $50k into it you're still way ahead of buying a shiny new one. That one is already ready to work after a week or two in the shop instead of waiting who knows how long for the new one. Plus it already has a few scratches so you won't be afraid to put it to work whenever you need it.

    I can tell u y loggers went with butterfly hoods and not the flip forward hoods because it's cool. And for cooling. What's cooler going up a hill with hood shut screaming away. Or showing what's under the hood in the passing lane screaming away at 100,000lbs

    Love how your using only classics to work. You could be the only company to run classics which I like. Square body design will never get old. Each model has a unique look compared to aerodynamic models…they look the same.

    That is genius. Making a truck set up as a locomotive. With wheel regenerate would also be a good idea.

      @teddybear0076 Год назад

      That's what I said, because once you get the truck rolling it generates it's own power!!!! Every vehicle on the could be this way, but we have a thing called big oil!!!! And they ain't going to let that happen!!!! Just say'n !!!!!

  • @Sherry-tn1cf
    @Sherry-tn1cf Год назад +2

    Lw , the logger model had the butterfly hood simply for the moose killer bumper gaurd welded straight to the frame... couldn't have a tilt hood and have maximum protection on the front.

    You should make a short or a short video introducing the truck and explaining the truck's power system and how everything works, like what was on the today show that is easy to share and will get this out there. Im sure your community could help you throw one together if you asked for what theyd like to know/ see in it

    I know you're not keen on tech that ages out but I think a mandatory feature on your retrofits should be a GPS that only gives you directions to the nearest Tim Hortons or wherever serves poutine

  • @HumanityAwakenZ
    @HumanityAwakenZ Год назад +3

    Old tech and equipment is always better. Better lasting quality materials and components. Simpler designs, easier to repair and maintain. Built to last a lifetime. And the best part is it's grandfathered in on stupid, expensive, and unreliable emissions control systems. I'll take rugged cheap old reliable over shiny expensive new unreliable any day of the week.
    They old saying that " They don't build em like they used to" Is sooo true!!

    have you considered for a different service truck to instead use an old cab over? such as a 352 or 362 for the shorter wheelbase and added maneuverability.

    I would love to have those "moose" bumpers for downtown Chicago. Not a lot of moose per say but protestors a plenty lol. All kidding aside you guys are awesome. I've been jumping up and down for years about diesel electric with a decent size battery pack and using a big ol diesel for a powerful generator. I'm excited to see the final product not to mention the steps along the way. I'm really hoping you guys make it big, not too big because then your hands will slowly but surely get tied behind your backs as political shit gets tossed your way. Makes me laugh when people say they wanna be famous, why? I'd rather be wealthy and completely unknown. You'd never think I'd have 7 figure bank accounts if you saw my 5 year old sketchers with holes in the sides and my old man socks. The way I see it is you learn quickly what people are like when they think you have nothing. Tell people u have a little cash and all of a sudden your good looking, not that old etc etc lol. Good luck guys, I mean it. I've been a underground utilities guy for 20 plus years and the best part of the job was the big toy's including our old Mack's and more.
