Well in my defense I wasn't alive in the 90's when she started lol. I was born in 2002, so being little and not understanding the music put me way behind. It wasn't until middle school, around 2012 ish that I started listening to her, and immediately fell in love with the sound. I've listened ever since. I literally own all of her CD's lol. So even though I literally couldn't follow her from the start, I'd say I still count myself here because I've still listened for years. Sorry for the long comment, I know no one asked, but I felt like typing it out anyway lol. Hope someone enjoyed reading this rant 😂

I still can't believe how creative she is, even after years and years of pure art and beauty and poetry, she always comes back with something complete unique and magical. This album is everything.

Sitting still is not her thing
Unlike so many she actually thinks those thoughts. Others write others thaughts
This song is written like a children's book - its magical.
The entire album is magical. Tori fan for life.
She wrote this song for her daughter, who although is an adult, was afraid of bugs and crawly things in their house at night during the lockdown. So it sort of is a children’s story! ❤️
It's Multidimensional her work
No comparison and still. Tori’s new album and Adele’s came out in less then two Weeks apart. Adele’s was promoted with millions of dollars PR festival. Yet I couldn’t bring myself listening to it from start to finish.
Tori’s on the other hand, is one of her best to date. Additional light, speaking, and this one.

I gave this album the time it deserves, and I must say, it's her best in years!

Tori is one of the strongest female musicians in the history of modern music, no doubt, but beyond this she is a creative genius spanning a multitude of artistic arenas. Just look at her fans … we, like Kate Bush’s fans are fiercely loyal and rabid for her music. We are and always have been the collective reflection of her brilliant mind and artist soul. Another album, another gift to the world. Thank you Tori for all the gifts!!

kate always created her own tiny worlds and tori does the same. Theres certainly room for both- not much creativity around in the charts ! ( KB fan since 1985!) Nice to hear Tori having fun with her music.
I was thinking about Kate Bush and wondered whether she influenced Tori. They have a lot of similarity and it might have encouraged Tori to step out with her own style. Kate was born 5 years prior and hit the chart aged only 19 so Tori would have been around 14. But the USA has a big market and often don't notice any other country.

I'll never forget the only time I saw this woman perform live. I cried the entire time.
I had full body chills the entire time!!!
@Jame Moself oh wow! I don't know if I could emotionally handle 6 times of her in true honesty. I would melt into a puddle of pure tears to be sure, prolly get myself carted to a happy hospital. My experience to see her was in Oakland California, with a friend who wanted to take me to see her on her birthday. I was high in the top levels of the theater hall, and just couldn't help it. I cried the entire concert. The range of emotions I felt for experiencing her voice in that environment... I can't do it again haha! I know I can't. I did community theatre growing up, and I've never EVER been so deeply moved emotionally. I feel her pain, her strength... too many layers to express. The Diva from fifth element comes to mind. Pure empathy and compassion. I love her so much for having that profound impact on my soul. I'll never forget the experience.
The 'thieving meanies' line has me remembering the Blue Meanies in the Yellow Submarine film!

It was one night, on a radio broadcast many, many years ago, that I first heard your voice.
Thank you for all of these wonderful moods ... something out of gravity.
'Caught a light sneeze' was the very first Tori song I ever heard. It was 1995. I had no idea who the artist was singing, so whenever I would catch it on the radio I would wait and pray that the DJ would say who was singing!!.. finally after listening to it about three or four times the DJ finally said her name!! I rushed out and bought whatever she had that was available. Been hooked ever since.
I love the bass line and the piano! So far so good with these new songs.
It really is beyond me how, after all these years and hundreds of songs,she can still come out with such an exceptional Album.
I'm both flabbergasted and overwhelmed by the entire album.

She still has it. I think my first big concert ever was Tori during To Venus and Back first tour. She came to Pittsburgh and it was incredible, she announced she'd be using photo from Pittsburgh (where the show was) for the cover photo and we all went nuts.
You invented a sound, and I NEED that sound! Thank you! So many imitators and people inspired, myself included, but as far as I know, you are the ORIGINAL!🔥

I've always loved Tori. I grew up with her, I was born in 2001 but my parents had a good amount of her CDs. Some of the songs they had may have been burned. Hard to tell lol
I really appreciate how - even though she has her own definition to her lyrics - there is something about her music that gives each listener their own perspective. That's what makes it the best Art - its truly an inspiration. Makes my heart flutter and makes me want to cry almost every time. 🥰
Though I do wish the comments were still available in her previous videos. I love other people's experiences but for some reason she (or her management) turns them off after a period of time :(
