That was awesome explanation, I always love your tutorials. infact I learnt from you, have a question on this video, why fusion created 3 sketches on the same plane for the 3 DXF files, I thought that it all would be on one sketch(feature).
Im having a problem with dxf file an address sign for my daughter. When I open it I tried to "fix" it but when I select it then right click "fix" isn't in the options.
I’m having a problem writing a complete tool path for the smaller parts, I get a warning that it has had linking issues, could you advice on what to do. Thanks in advance.( example, curves and straight lines approximately 2.5mm in width)
Hello Lars very useful info thanks a lot , nevertheless i still have a problem combining dxf files that i make, fi i m able to insert a dxf file into another one and fix them , but afterwards i 'm not able to save this combination as a new dxf file were the two pictures are combined, i can only save as dxf per sketch the two drawings being two seperate sketches , i hope my question is clear thanks a lot
Hey Lars, you are an absolute legend, i have a dxf file that once I import and fix it, I notice that the components are all on different layers, do you have a tutorial on how to fix this issue? Thank you!!
Hi Lars, Love your videos! Super helpful. I'm having some issues with importing dxf's right now. No matter what I do, when I select a sketch and try to scale it, it lets me select all the parts of the sketch, but when I select the single point it never gives me the text box to put in the scale value. Any idea what I'm missing there? Dan
Hey! I really like your videos. I am BRAND NEW to CAD and to Fusion 360. I have watched bunch of your beginner tutorials and it was really valuable. However I need to get into modeling gears and gear racks (rounded) as fast as possible. It will be really helpful if you can point me to some tutorials on this, or if you can make one. Please.
