- Want a simple Upgrade to creep out you guests this Halloween? Then adding simple DIY Follow You Eyes are the way to go. Using a cool but basic technique seen in the Haunted Mansion ride, your animatronics will be watching everyone as they walk by. I show how to use this technique for a basic Home Depot Skeleton as well as a werewolf animatronic.
The theme song, Night Scapes, was written and recorded by Jodiinn. This song should be played at every Halloween party! Listen to the amazing full song here:

Who needs to spend 300 on Nibbles when they have you!!!
Hahaha. Thanks! The clown posse might disagree, but even Nibbles could be improved with something like this. I just watched your Demonic Gatekeeper video, he is so cool. Looking forward to seeing how you use him for your haunt this year!
Thats so simple but profound, love the effect. Really nice upgrade
Thanks! It is a simple upgrade that really creeps kids out when they notice it. At least it does for my son's friends.
@@ScareDad ill send you my werewolf as well lol
That’s an epic improvement-and now looks even more ferocious!! You’re not only a genius, but also psychic 🔮👀😄 because I was just contemplating how I could do a similar effect with a ventriloquist dummy. Thanks, Scare Dad!
Thanks! I knew there was a reason my psychic senses were tingling, lol. With your talent you could definitely take this effect to the next level. Can't wait to see what you do with your ventriloquist dummy!
Wow, awesome upgrade!
Thank you! It is a simple adjustment and so far the kids love it, or are disturbed by it, but either way it gets a reaction.
Great video
Thank you! It's a fun effect that looks better in person, especially when people first notice it and aren't expecting it.
This is such an awesome, and simple trick! I think even I could achieve this 😂.
Great project and great video bud.
Not only could you make it yourself, you could probably improve upon it. This is definitely more like a prototype, but still works well enough and the kids who come over find it both cool and creepy. It also would work well if you made a static prop using a mask. Thanks Dan!
This looks so much better than I expected it to be. Now you can put the LCD eyes inside some bushes like the bushes have eyes 😂. Nice work on the sculpting and paintjob! I also am busy making an upgrade but then using a "people sensor".
Thanks! It's super simple compared to the awesome work you do. I still need to send you a recording so you can show me how you make your magic. You are adding a people sensor now? That is going to be amazing! Looking forward to seeing it!
@@ScareDad don't underestimate yourself. I never touched epoxy! Yes please do send a sample with speech you would like him ("the animatronic")to say so you can use it on your channel. I just finished another upgrade yesterday so that he can bend over for a bit. This makes the total of servo's I control of 17! All with only one Arduino Leonardo (arduino costs around $11). In my experience, the more parts are moving @ the same time, the more impressive it looks haha!
So cool!
Thanks Cindy! I'll probably try to improve the effect even more if I add it to other props, but I couldn't leave poor Larry with one eye any longer.
@@ScareDad I would have probably just slapped an eyepatch on Larry and call it a day. :P
Nice! Creative
Thanks! I am honestly surprised animatronic companies don't use something like this. Even the cheap props could afford to do it.
@@ScareDadthey’ll probably steal your idea now. 🤣
Thenooooooooooooooo😂😂😂😂😂
Glad you enjoy my dumb humor! Thanks for watching!
