That turned out really cool looking! Nice colors and pose.
Thank you brotha 🙏
Definitely an air brush video!!
Right on I gotchu. Thanks for watching!!
I love the finished product great job.
I also love the knobby bumpy texture of the great stuff I would paint and detail it like he had a virus 🦠 toxic pumpkin 🎃
I also would have pumpkin guts and seeds dripping out of him 😮 kind of glow in the dark seeds on toxic green strings when the wind blows the move
Thank you and I'm so happy you enjoyed it! That's an awesome idea, I'd love to see that rendition on the pumpkin guy.
Very cool i might have to make another one now 😄
That's awesome!!! I LOVE it 💖❤This is the fist time I've seen your channel but not the last. I love great stuff and just made my first Halloween tree with it and monster mud.
I'd love to see a tutorial on air brushing..I have one and purchased paints for it but only used it a few times...still learning to use it.I might try making your pumpkin guy after my other projects.I have all the items on hand. Thank you for a great video. Your new subscriber 👩🏾😃
Thank you so much for joining us and welcome!! How cool how did it come out? The airbrush video is already out and is full of good information to help you along the process. The pumpkin guy is a really fun project you should definitely try it out! It's my pleasure and thanks for watching!!
Love your channel its giving me some great ideas to try next. You need to try Loctite spray foam it will save you so much time carving. Spray the lcotite foam on and spray it with water then wait 3 min. After 3 min it creates a crust on the out side but still soft and form-able underneath. If still tacky spray some more water and give another min. You can really shape it so well it almost to the point you dont need to carve. This was a game changer for me. It might even save you from so much monster mud. When my friends see my 4' tall Audrey II man eating plants they cant believe it was made from spray foam.
That's a great tip brotha thank you! I'll give it a go the next project I need spray foam. Thanks for watching!
You are gifted! Thank you! Will attempt this at 71!
Thank you so much! Right on, good luck and have fun with it!
Awseome,thanks for sharing.
My pleasure thanks for watching!

That is awesome!
Thank you!
What is monster mud. Live your work
Monster Mud is a mixture of joint compound and latex paint. If you check out my Monster Mud witch video I explain what I use, how I mix it and how to apply it.
Just found your channel, FYI The spray foam can be misted with a spray bottle and the once the foam is not tacky to the touch 3-4 mins the sculpt by hand.
Right on welcome! Great tip thank you and thanks for watching!
Awesome creature Gio! Would love an airbrushing tutorial! Thanks!
Thank you brotha! The airbrush video is already out! It's very informative. Check it out.
AWESOME
Thank you so much 🙏

wasn't sure at first but turned out cool as hell. nice work.
Haha I had the same feeling 😅 thanks brotha 🙏
If you haven’t already done so please do a video on airbrushing. Your work is amazing!
Thank you so much! My airbrush video is available. It's our latest tutorial. Thanks for watching!
I love monster mud pumpkin guy!!! I would love to have a whole bunch of them in my graveyard with a scarecrow and skeletons, grave robber and a reaper! I've never tried mm before or an airbrush; yes would love videos on both.
Right on and thank you! I just finished shooting our airbrush video so expect to be seeing that within the next couple weeks. Monster mud is really an awesome medium to use. You can make so many great characters with it.
@@CarvalhoCreations can't wait to see the new video and thanks for all the content and inspiration in June! Halloween never dies! 💀 ☠️
@serenababy6358 my pleasure!! Happy haunting.
Nice work! I've just been modifying my store bought skeletons lately but this is fantastic.
Thank you. Right on tis the season for a ton of work! Thanks for watching
This is amazing! Have you done a Davy Jones (pirates) head?
Thank you! No I haven't but it's funny you mention it because I've been researching old pirates designs and davy Jones keeps coming up. I will be releasing a full pirate tutorial in the next few weeks so stay tuned for that!
I'd like to suggest a squatting gargoyle character with wings!
Awesome I've been wanting to do a gargoyle so that'll be sweet! Thanks for the request!
Creepy!! I am CRAZY about Halloween- make anything scary and creepy and I’m with you, tutorial on air brushing would be awesome ❤❤
Right on well you definitely came to the right place!! The airbrush tutorial is already out, it's our latest video and much more to come
You are one heck of a craftsman! I adore that little guy! ❤
Awesome project as always.
Thank you I appreciate it 🙏 I'm happy so many of you guys are liking this. I'll definitely be making more characters like this. Thanks for watching!!
Great video. How about a monster mud Scarecrow/skeleton? Maybe a scarecrow that was made out of a human and just began to rot and combine with the scarecrow burlap. Just all combined from a rotting corpse. Lol
Thank you! I like that request! Absolutely I can!
I would love to see a pretty fantasy animal turned scary. Like a unicorn, fairy, elf.... ya know? And since I've found ur page last night I've decided I'm gunna try this myself soon....
Twisted fairy folk I like that!! I'll definitely add it to the list. Thanks for subbing and have fun. Happy haunting!
Instant sub! This is a great project, something I could see myself trying for sure :)
Right on welcome!! I'm happy to have you. Definitely something anyone can do. Let me know how it goes and thanks for watching!
Just a note, Great Stuff isn't the best product for some long-term props. After a while, it begins to erode and crack so you'll do a lot of repairing. But great tutorial!!
Right on, noted. Thanks for watching!
Quick question, did you let the air dry clay completely dry before adding the 2nd coat of monster mud to seal over the clay foam? It seemed like you did it right away after putting on the clay foam features. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed watching you create this little creepy pumpkin creature. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge with us in such a wonderfully done teaching tutorial. I’m hooked! Can’t wait to watch more of your videos.
Yes I let the foam clay dry completely. It took about 24 hours and then I painted on the second coat of monster mud. I'm so happy you enjoyed the video. Thanks so much for watching!
I would love a air brush tutorial!!! You have become my favorite youtuber!! You have some badass creations.
Thank you so much! It's actually already up. Thumbnail has a picture of a zombie on it.
Dude this is amazing. So glad I found this channel to get me back in the Halloween spirit!
Thank you and we're happy to have you! You definitely came to the right place for halloween inspiration! Thanks for watching!
awesome job! air brush tutorial would be great. If you haven't already a tutorial on how to make Monster mud
Thank you! The airbrush tutorial is already available. In my monster mud witch video I explain how I make and apply my monster mud. Both videos are very informative so definitely check them out! Thanks for watching!
I don't use monster mud, but most of the things you do with it translate well to paper mache. Monster mud is probably what most people use for outside.
Pumpkin guy looks great. Lots of attitude with that pose. He needs a couple of buddies to help guard the door.
Your going over your color choices is informative. I never know which colors to layer to get the finished look I want. An airbrush tutorial would be helpful.
Thanks.
Thank you as always brotha. I haven't used paper mache in years that would be cool to get back into. What have you made with it? Yeah this is definitely a project that would do well with making a couple of these dudes. Right on I'll make sure to get you guys a video on airbrushing. Thanks for the feedback man?
@@CarvalhoCreations I'm still getting started with it. A few jack-o-lanterns, candy bowls and books. I want to do a jack hot air balloon, a few scroll ideas and some heads based on the ones you did but tree ornament size. I would also like to do some standing figures like the one in this video.
@rufferstuff9148 nice man thats alot! A jack hot air balloon sounds awesome 👌 keep going with it!
Wow fantastic!!! Next time for details, try Loctite foam. Much more moldable. Subscribed!
Welcome and thank you!! I keep hearing that so I'll have to try it out. Thanks so much for watching!
This is the coolest decoration ever!! I love it!
Thank you! I'm pretty stoked about this one too!! Thanks for watching!
I’m spooky all year long! I’m digging your channel. I just found you yesterday. This pumpkin guy is cute! Would you do a video of a rotten pumpkin out of a cheap plastic pumpkin? (like the ones sold at all the box stores) I have tons of them and would love to change them up. Thanks!
Well in that case welcome!! We're happy to have you! Absolutely I can do that! Thanks for watching!
I just made my witch head/face, and I'm making the body next! After that, I'm trying this pumpkin. Love you videos!
Right on thank you so much 🙏 I love when people try out my projects. Please send me some images through Instagram or email @Carvalhocreations@gmail.com. make sure and add a clear coat to your finished piece to protect the foam. Thanks so much for watching!
I would love to see air brush tutorials! I've always wanted to pick that skill up.
Right on, our airbrush video is already available! The thumbnail has a zombie head with an eye coming out on it 😄
Thank you for sharing your process and explaining the details! I know it's a big ask but... I'd love to see you make the Headless Horseman or an Alien movie creature 😁 Looking forward to more of your videos 😁
Absolutely my pleasure! The headless hoarseman is on my list. I've been wanting to get to him for awhile now but we're in the season. I'll put Alien on the list as well. Thanks so much for watching!
Just found your channel and love your stuff. One suggestion... invest in a Great Stuff gun! Costa around $55 and the cans are more expensive, but you get more foam out of them, letting you use every drop, plus more accurate and easy to clean! My biggest plus is you can use half a can, set it aside, then use the rest later without issue. Youll thank me; saves a ton in the long run!
Right on, in that case welcome!! I'll do that as soon as I can. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching!!
Yo, can you make a list of all the tools and item use and where to get them? Also, can you make a video on how to make monster mud?
1. Plastic cauldron 2. Great stuff 2 cans 3. Pvc pipe 4. Scrap sheet of 2" foam 5. Fabric (bed sheet) 6. Monster mud 7. Acrylic paints 8. Wire
Tools needed
1. Rotary tool 2. Jig saw 3. Heat gun 4. Scissors
As far as making monster mud you can watch my monster mud witch tutorial.
What type of material do you use with the monster mud? I've done sorta the same with a lighter lock tite 3, outdoor paint, then urethane for waterproofing. I love the details of how you've done the airbrush. I've owned one for a few years, just haven't used it, yet.
I use all kinds of different materials but for this guy I used old curtains for the fabric. I'm telling you take out the airbrush and give it a go! Game changer! I have a tutorial on that as well, super informative. Thanks for watching
I love them they areThe coolest things I’ve ever seen I just think they are awesome as hell I just love them I wish I could do something like that but I am too old but man if I could only I would I’m just not that talented either you are so talented just so coolLove ❤❤😊👻👻💀👻💀💀
Thanks so much!! I really appreciate the compliment. Thanks for watching!
Beau Field
Please make more! This was so much fun to watch!🎃
Absolutely. In our next video I'm making a scarecrow!
Could you possibly do a monster mud witches cauldron?
Absolutely! I've been thinking of ways to make one and I've finally figured out a way that should work well.
Wow. That is bloody awesome! What is the attachment you used on the rotary tool for the initial carving? (please)
Thanks so much 🙏 I'm using a tungsten carbine bit from Amazon. They come in various shapes, this one happens to be a cone shape
Love, love, love it! Do you sell any of your creations? I'm not artistic at all but love Halloween and try to make it bigger and better every year. I would die for some original masterpieces.
Thank you so much! I do as a matter of fact. You can email me at Carvalhocreations@gmail.com and we can discuss it further.
Very Cool! Well Done - again...
Thanks brotha
I finished it! Yours is better learned a lot through the process! You rock! Thank you!!
Yay! I'm happy the tutorial helped! My pleasure and thanks for trying it out. You can send me images of your creations on Instagram @carvalhocreations
What type of cloth are you covering in the monster mud? Will any thing work? Like an old sheet perhaps?
Any material works that's one of the reasons I love working with monster mud. I typically like to use sheets or table cloth because they soak up less mud. The weight of the material is is where most people struggle with these.
That was awesome!! Pumpkin guy was so cool!
I'm so happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Very nice job . yes if you would make a airbrush Tutorial . That would be great.
Thanks so much! The airbrush video is already available. Check it out, it's super informative. Thanks for watching!
Nice work🎃 Yes I would like you to do a video on spray painting techniques -thanks in advance
Thank you! My airbrush video is already available so check it out. It's super informative. Thanks for watching!
These are amazing! Where do you get the clay for their features? You should do a beetle juice with the new movie about to release!
Thank you! The foam clay I use I get from hobby lobby. Really good for this type of project just make sure to coat it with monster mud so it's weather proof. I'm actually getting the supplies ready to make him!!! 😄
Such a cool look to this guy!! You make it look easy!! I’m going to try it one of these days!!
I really wanted him to have style haha glad it reads well. Please do they're so much fun. I'm actually making 4 more as we speak 😄
This is incredible! Can I ask is the monster mud a homemade thing? I googled it and can't find anything
Thanks so much! Yes, the recipe is 5 parts joint compound to 1 part latex paint. You can also watch my monster mud witch video where I show you how to make it and apply it. Thanks for watching!
How do you make your monster mud? Specifically to be water proof?
I use 5 parts joint compound to 1 part latex paint and mix. That ratio seems to work out the best.
I just watched my first video of yours and I loved it! Do you have a recipe for monster mud please?
Well thanks for watching! Absolutely, short recipe is 5 parts joint compound to 1 part latex paint. Watch my monster mud witch video where I show you how to make it and apply it.
Wow was that satisfying to watch! Awesome job your so talented
Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed it!
So are the vines just strips of cloth coated in Monster Mud and twisted and wrapped around the legs and arms?
Yes thats correct 👍
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing your process! 🎃
Absolutely! This is some fun everyone should get a chance to partake in. Thanks for watching!
Love it what is the black clay around the eyes and what kind of airbrushing gun do you use
Thank you! I'm using air dry foam clay. Here's a link to the gun I use

What is your monster mud recipe? Do you use drylock
5 parts joint compound to 1 part latex paint. You can also watch my monster mud witch video where I show you how to make it and apply it. I haven't experimented with drylock yet but I heard it works really well
What is best sealer for foam clay
Next should be Sam
I found that a brushed on layer of monster mud is best to seal the foam. Then a layer of spar urethane to seal the paint at the end. Sam is already on the list so stay tuned to see that.
How awesome. I appreciate your talent. From simple things to great things ☺☺
Thank you!! I'm trying to bring you guys a variety of different projects that anyone can do. Thanks for watching!
Love it, great job.
Thank you!!
Love it. What size cauldron is yours.
