I like this character alot! 🤔🔨🪚🎨🖌
One of my favorites too!!
Great idea!
Thanks for the confidence boost to get started. I made 2 different styles for our sons Halloween themed birthday party. Everybody loved them! You've created another monster because I'll never stop making props now.
My pleasure. These things aren't that difficult. I think for most people it's just not knowing where to start. That's what I do... create monsters hahaha 😆
Love it! The idea with his coat was bang on. The gold accent on the blue coat 💯
Right on thank you! I thought those touches might be the ticket 😄 thanks so much for watching!
Haha, awesome prop!
Thank you!
Great video.
Thank you so much!
I want to buy one!
Haha thanks 😄
You are very talented
I do my best. Thanks for watching!
you look brilliant as shadow man . and yr little movies are very good , as are all yr crafts .
Thanks so much! I'll be making more movies soon. Thanks so much for watching!
Brilliant
Thank you
Congratulations, beautiful video and very realistic, I wanted to know the monstrous stench of what compound and clay you use, I live in Italy and I would like to find similar products, thanks.. keep making videos
Thank you! To make the monster mud I use joint compound (from other people I've spoken to from Italy it's called plaster) mixed with latex paint at a 5 to 1 ratio. For the clay im using foam air dry clay. Thanks so much for watching!
Love it bro you got skills
Thank you brotha I appreciate it 🙏
I just imagine having the back as a false/drop wall… people are going to be drawn in by the creature
Right on I like the way you think!! That would be totally badass 😄
Fantastic Sleigh. Loved it.
Right on thank you!!
Awesome vid. Great texture.
Thank you brotha
He looks awesome I love it.❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much!
That was so amazing you’re awesome you should make Freddy Krueger and the devil. I really enjoyed watching your video thank you.😎
Thank you so much! My Freddy video is already up and I even updated the sculpt of the face in one of my shorts also. It's a cool video for sure. The devil I can definitely do a rendition of!
You nailed it! 😂 Looks creepy good!
Thank you! I did my best.
It's Showtime!! You make them all look so easy lol Your work is fantastic and really captivating from start to finish . Can't wait to see what/ who your next character is. Have you ever done Creeper from Jeepers Creepers?
Thank you so much! I have so many more projects coming and a ton of really cool requests. Jeepers Creepers is definitely on the list already but I haven't made him yet. I'll get to him soon though. Thanks so much for watching!
Looks great. Definitely the ghost with the most. Seeing how you tweak it at the end was helpful. Do you have a tutorial for the Lock, Shock and Barrel heads? Thanks.
Thank you as always my friend! I'm doing my best to bring you guys along for all the steps for sure. Lock, Shock and Barrel will be out soon. My pleasure man
WOW your sculpt is really great!! Maybe next prop idea is to make a matching sandworm for him? :3 keep up the great work!
Oh yes a sandworm!! Going on the list for sure. Thanks so much for watching!
It was pretty cool to see his features start taking shape and turning into Beetlejuice. The foam clay turning out flat and smooth was so interesting ! I haven’t used it before but want to use it. You rock it everytime! I enjoy your videos!
Yeah its a trip how it smoothes itself out like that. You should it's really cool stuff to use. Thanks for watching!
Utter class, you make sculpting look so easy. Very well done sir. :)
Thank you so much 🙏 just alot of practice and having fun my friend.
Could you please post materials used?
1. 2'x2' plywood 2. Styrofoam head 3. Fabric (sheets, tablecloth etc.) 4. Great stuff 5. 2x4s 6. Chicken wire 7. Upholstery foam 8. Screws 9. Foam clay 10. 1 1/2" nails 11. Plastic eyes 12. Acrylic paint 13. Monster mud 14. Pvc pipe 15. Pool noodles 16. Spray adhesive 17. 16 Guage wire
At about 5:36, you have a skull added to the tombstone. Could you please tell me more about that skull? Thanks!
Sure. It's just a small plastic skull that I cut the back portion off of to make flat. Then I hot glued it into place.
Your techniques are fantastic!!! Love them! 👏👏👏
Right on thank you! I do my best to make these projects are as simple and straightforward as possible. Thanks for watching!
A true artist! 🙏🏻
Thank you
Wow bang on, on the Beetlejuice character good job on it, it definitely actually looks like the real Beetlejuice absolutely love the make and build love this it's very well done and put together
Thank you so much!! Much appreciated
@CarvalhoCreations Your very much welcome
Hellboy 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Right on I can do that for sure! I've actually been toying with the idea of doing a hero's/villains line of props after the Christmas season. But hellboy for sure! Thanks for watching
It's Showtime!! You did not disappoint. Awesome work as always! Great detail with the classic pose and head kinked even 🤯 Honestly think you captured both old school and new school beautifully in the sculpt with his eyes and facial structure. Could try a hair claw or even squeeze clamp to hold the clothes out of your way as your bending. You're a freaking RockStar 🔥🤘🏼🔥
Wow thank you I appreciate that 🙏 I took my time with this one for sure. Thanks for the comment 👍
holy crap man, this is so great. your videos/creations keep getting better, also thank you for the consistent uploads. This is an amazing prop brother, keep up the good work.
Thank you, my friend! It's my pleasure, brotha. Thanks for watching!
Let’s turn up the juice and see what shakes loose!
Hahaha 😆
Wow! Awesome works as always.
Thank you!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween and this is the first of your videos I seen. 10/11. I really want to make one but my party is in a week. Eek,
Welcome!! Me too, I can't get enough haha. It can be done in a week but you'd be cutting it close if you're in a cooler area because of drying time.
I know this is a few years ago but wanted to know if you spray painted the head first for dark base or did you brush paint with latex paint?
So I like to base coat the head with a dark color so I can go back over once it's dry and dry brush my lighter colors. Helps to pick up all the detail more
@@CarvalhoCreations Thanks but I'm using a Styrofoam head . I know acrylic spray paint will eat the Styrofoam so I wondered what u used for base.
@stevenhulbert7540 you can either brush on you base coat or paint a layer of liquid latex over the entire head to create a barrier, then spray your base coat.
Definitely keep the commentary Gio!
Absolutely I will. I've had alot of the same requests 😄 thanks for watching!
I don’t know if anyone has commented this or not! But you could also have done one of those like pumpkins with warts all over it that they now sell a lot of! Haha wouldn’t even need to shave down the great stuff!! I would love a video about the air brush machine, if you haven’t made it already! I only do small projects. So I have never invested in one yet! But if I choose to someday, a tutorial on it would be great!!
That is a great idea with the warts! Love the creativity! My airbrush tutorial is already up and it's super informative so check it out. Honestly I just started these last couple years using an airbrush and it's been a game changer. Thanks so much for watching!!
❤❤❤❤😂😊😅
Thank you!
This is actually a casket, not a coffin. I don’t really care if someone calls it one or the other. I just learned the difference between the two recently and thought it was pretty interesting.
Haha I just learned the same thing recently also 😅 I don't really care either way but thanks for looking out. Thanks for watching!!
Absolutely love this.. so creative and cool..
Right on thank you!! In our next tutorial I'll be showing you guys how to make Beetlejuice!
I would love to see a unicorn... creepy, scary, dead, all the above. Halloween style unicorn. Then when i make mine i have a better idea of how and my husband will listen to u on what needs to b done. Lol😂
Creepy unicorn right on I like that! I've been meaning to make more whimsical props. Going on the list. Hahaha 😆
Love it. Is the latex rough on your hands? I am allergic to a lot of that kind of stuff.
Thank you! I would advise you to apply a little to the inside of your wrist and let it sit for 10 minutes. If you don't have a reaction you should be good. This stuff is made to go on skin but never hurts to be as safe as possible.
This is AWESOME! Perfect for Halloween! I would definitely hang this on my wall!
Right on im glad you like it! These are really easy to make too. Thanks for watching!
This looks amazing! Great job. Would love to see an airbrush tutorial. I always wanted to learn. But have no clue where to start. What to buy or what paints I need. Thanks for your great videos.
Thank you so much! The airbrush tutorial is already available. It's very informative. Definitely check it out and thanks for watching!
Just amazing! I would love to see a witch made out of the foam and monster mud.
Thank you! My monster mud witch video is already available. Check it out it's awesome!
It's the wrong wood glue to use if this is going outside.
I'm using an old bottle but I buy the gallon outdoor stuff and just refill
Hiw much does it weigh with the monster mud?
Once it's dry, about 50lbs I'd say
That is fantastic! Thank you
My pleasure and thanks so much for watching!
Two things to add... 1) be sure you're using 'slip' latex, the sort used for casting masks. The kind of liquid latex sold by costume shops is intended for makeup purposes, and will be too fragile for prop construction. (It's also generally much more expensive.) In a pinch, you can use latex house paint but you'll have to fiddle with the consistency (don't buy gloss either!) 2) tear your tissue paper/paper towels rather than cutting them to avoid unsightly straight lines in your surface textures. Also, if using paper towels, the cheaper the better, and pull the plys apart to avoid it just absorbing your skinning liquid (whether latex or white glue).
Great tips. Thanks for the comments and watching. When I finally get to mask making I'll make sure to refer back to this post. Happy haunting
The trick r treaters behind you are AWSUM. Did you make them?
Thank you so much and yes I did. I'll be making a tutorial on them very soon also so stay tuned!
Nice. He is awsum "You open the box and we came"🥶🥶
Haha 😄
