I have seen reports from puppet makers i took classes with on SWSCA, that the Crayola air dry clay had failed in their puppets. Whole noses made with it as structure under the fleece/fabric skins just crumbled over time. So, I've been avoiding using it. Some of the Foam clays do indeed "foam" up more than others as it's drying, but you can go back with a dremel and quickly pop back in deeper detail lines. Probably best to seal real good after that tho. Like a couple coats of primer, or quick plastidip spritz. Totally Lurving Your Channel 🙂
That's alot of great information thank you! I'm always learning new ways to make my props better and I appreciate the tips. Thanks so much for watching!
Great work capturing his lanky look. The shorts are good for the head sculpts, but i like these slower and more detailed tutorials for things like this. It's good to see and hear you. Thanks.

Have you ever tried sculpey premo ? You can get great details in small sculptures.
