    I started using Bifen IT for our property. Not only for Mosquitos but, Lantern Flies, Stink Bugs, Fleas, Ticks, Ants, Bees, Wasps, etc, etc. I spray the entire house and lawn. Works amazing and I use about 1 ounce per gallon. The results are significant. Bifen does leave a residual film and depending on how much rain you get, you will need to apply it more often if you are experiencing a lot of rain. I have a 15 gallon sprayer that I put in the back of the Kubota, a 4 gallon back pack sprayer to get to the areas that do not allow for the Kubota.

    You don't need all these chemicals. Dunks... I have a few buckets with water, a dunk and some grass clippings. Haven't seen mosquitos since May and my property butts up to a marsh

      @@ThelawnPapiGoogle mosquito dunks or mosquito bits. They work really well especially if you get them out early in the season. They also work better in water that's not chlorinated, so try to use rain water or well water if available.

    Good video but I wouldn’t recommend combining it with products that are meant to be watered in because if your trying to target mosquitoes with Talstar P you don’t want to water it until it dries. Also be careful with the jets you choose with Talstar P vs regular Bifenthrin because Talstar P has an encapsulation technology that can separate under fine mesh filters on certain TeeJets before it gets into the jet opening and will clog. I know because I ran into this trying to spray/cover a 10 acre field before a large public gathering. Just make sure it’s a coarse enough grain.

      I've had the same experience although I believe one summer was enough to convince me. I do still have a bottle but I'll save it for use when I have a big gathering because you're right, it doesn't last more than a weekend. Not for mosquitoes anyway. Going to try dunks first and see how that works for us

    When sun goes down here in Wisconsin the mosquitoes come out of the corn field and forests. We need bee suits there are so many. Spraying my lawn is pointless. It will not work.

    • @JimmyLewisMows
      @JimmyLewisMows  Год назад

      That's a great question. I apologize, I actually recorded this but somehow it didn't get put in.
      Mosquitos breed and thrive in west environments. If there is standing water nearby, or moist places, that's where you'll find them. We've had a pretty wet year, the grass is watered regularly as well as the flower beds, so those are pretty common places for mosquitos to hang out.
