I have JUST discovered you and very happy to have done so. You are very funny and intelligent!
Yes!!! Overhead lighting makes you TIRED!
The TV above the fireplace bothers me so much, I get neck pain just from looking at it in photos or videos 😅
Keep the movies nice and warm 😅
I knowww, I'd be much happier with a normal piece of artwork or a mirror above the fireplace.
If the fireplace is the only focal point in the room, I like the TV above. Detest much more if TV is adjacent and area isn’t streamlined
In my traditional home, we have a fairly large living room with a wood burning fireplace. The only logical and symmetrical place for our tv is above the fireplace. Personally I’d do without the tv there but since I don’t live alone and my husband loves tv it went above the fireplace. Since for us it’s far enough from our sofa we never have to hurt our necks to watch tv. I do understand that spaces that are smaller where the tv is very close to the sofa it would be very uncomfortable to watch. I would love a stunning mirror instead but for now it is what it is 😂
Lol "everyone looks kind of ugly " facts 😊
🤣🤣
Yet another room we need to rearrange/redecorate 😂 thanks for the tips!
Such great tips Bai Xu! Really enjoyed this one :) also appreciated the Friends clips here and there haha
Finally! A great interior design tips video that uses metric system! 😂
My brain just does not compute inches and feet 😅
I’ve been wondering when someone was going to call out the TVs being way up high! 😂
Haha we definitely need to talk about this more, it’s everywhere!

Did I dream about decorating a new flat today? Literally 😂 I had the feeling I was in a nightmare tbh haha❤
TV over Fireplace: BAD FENG SHUI!! (Double Fire). BIG "No no!!" And....
I always think it's an immediate indication that the inhabitants of the house do not know how to converse (Subtitle: Uneducated).
I just bought a place that has five TVs, one mounted on the wall of every room except kitchen and powder room. There is even one in primary bathroom. The builder was a young man with different priorities, I guess. I will be removing some.
🙈 oh myyyy. Yes I would definitely remove some too, artwork and photographs would be much more beautiful than a TV in every room...
Do you still work as an architect? I use to be curious about that career when I was younger.
Yes! It took me many many years to get the license so I am not giving it up so easily 🙈 although I am focusing on smaller residential projects and not large commercial buildings
Put an ACTUAL Painting above the fireplace (and show some class).
