Loved ur room decorating video ❤❤
This is very cute and entertaining
Your fantastic sense of humour is not lost on me. 😅
What a perfectly complete video. Thank you for making it! Beautiful.
this is such a well written motivation letter! Kudos to you :)
Useless explanation
I am currently studying interior design, I have a class just focused on illumination and everything you say is SOOO on point, the warm light of a space does resonate with your state of mind and the way you feel. Thanks for all the knowledge shared!
Don't breathe! Stop living! lol...for real! That's for people who are rarely home or who have house cleaners and maids. For people who live at home always, work from home, and educate children from home, it's so important to know how to create the warm, cozy, heavenly home that will make our families happy to be here. Thank you for these videos!!
I love the examples. So helpful
This is brilliant. Thank you
I think your content is great and the depth of your Knowledge (eg regarding design psychology) sets you apart. So I’m positive that you will make it work if you continue to further develop your USPs by following your passions. Personally I would love to hear more about books you could recommend to dive deeper
Completely agree with the countertop. Wood can be very forgiving if not overly polished and perfect. However, water can quickly become an issue so it needs to be sealed well. Maybe you could just place a black batten (Leiste) in front of your task light to camouflage it?
Please don’t be discouraged. Your contents are amazing.
Would red rugs (eg oriental style) work as well? Because none of your pictures showed one
Very practical advice! Especially with the waist high cupboard/ table. I think that also applies to garden/ terrace doors
Very helpful! Thank you
I dislike open kickers fir a lot of reasons but mainly the smells and heating up the whole house. I cook a lot because we do not eat out or buy restaurant food at all which means messes and grease. I love the look of open shout I was afraid I’d hate them in a few months maybe I’ll do as you suggested and put some at the drink station. How about talk about how to or not to organize a pantry. I am at a loss. I’d like my cabinet top equipment to be housed there but it was no shelves big enough
I just found your channel and binge watched so many videos! I really love that you put a lot of emphasis on practicality in your tips! Can you make a video for spaces that have very low ceilings?
Whatever is on a glass table top is also on any other material a table top is made from, so you have to accept that you are leaving these smears and dust on your non-glass table top. I don't find it any harder to keep a glass table top clean than any other material. You wipe, you dry, that's it.
It's cool (or cozy?) how this video contrasts to many modern trends
Your story is so inspiring..
Barbie was banned at my house until they released a third world Barbie. It wasnt until we were given a going away party and my two daughters were handed a barbie each. I capitulated 😭
How about letting us read Halo
and drawers over doors and shelves......thank you....we are planning our new kitchen in a small pied a terre apartment and this is a great idea!!!
I hate open plan kitchens....I love to cook and I want to hide the appliances and mess......you are spot on!!
Dont get animals to create looks
I absolutely love her decor advice, but can we talk about her wardrobe? I wanna know where she buys her clothes lol
This is the best interior design video I’ve ever seen. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Brilliant 🥰
Where did you get your lounge rug please?
Thank you enjoyed your video. ❤
Great advice! 👍🥰🎉
love these videos, thank you!
So, intelligent! Just wonderful and helpful to watch. You are also very easy and charming to watch! Thank you!
So, intelligent! Just wonderful and helpful to watch. Thank you!
All great info. Very helpful. And the delivery was extremely pleasant.
Loved ur room decor video , loved the way u simply explain how it work😊
Love this. I never understood why open plan is so popular especially for smaller homes. How is it relaxing to knock down walls just to sleep in the same room as your kitchen?!
I generally like deep windows. However, the high and small windows have a reason. The idea that windows should let the outside in is a fairly new one - at least in Europe. Window glass has been around since Roman times, but this was reserved for very wealthy families. Even the windows of European castles in the Middle Ages were only protected by bars, not windows. The window therefore let rain, snow and moisture in and heat out. This is why traditional windows are small. This can still be seen today in all German towns with half-timbered houses. These already had glass windows, but the typical mullioned windows, in which 4 or 6 small panes of glass were inserted, because glass was a luxury product. Incidentally, good windows are still expensive today. And not every architectural style can tolerate deep windows - with respect for history. - Have you ever noticed that the reveals of the window you are sitting in front of open into the room? It's built that way to let in more light. This was also taken into account several hundred years ago. These window reveals can be found in all castles and palaces. - Thank you for your always interesting videos - even if I disagree in this case.
Hi @baixu, do you recommend white brick wall paper in a small living room behind the tv?
Planned obsolescence is important for people decorating their home to avoid. A cool trick to help you to pronounce the second word in that phrase is that it is "obb so less sense". This is easy to remember because buying items that are going to look bad fast make so (much) less sense. 😉
Thank you Baixu! Very inspiring!!
Glad you think so!
Great video. The „overarching tree“ picture was so striking to me
Excellent! Thank you!
@11:35 "You feel almost guilty touching them!" A whole life living on a show that is! A world when everything can look perfect but the perfection is making us lonelier everyday because of the way we value things and people! It is sad!
Thank you for saying that committing to painting or paneling the entire room is the way to go! I tried (very nicely) to explain to my mother-in-law that her living room’s accent wall isn’t exactly giving off the fancy vibe she was aiming for. I told her that fully embracing the color she chose would make the room look much more impressive to visitors, that it would look more 'deliberate' and 'confident'. Sadly, she didn’t take my advice, but at least she likes it. I mean, it's her home. ☺
There's a reason why open concept kitchens continue to be a major make a break when buying a home. Most ppl don't want to be separated from their families and/or guests' when cooking. The kitchen is seen as the heart and soul of the home; most cooks would agree isolated is a major turn off. The desire for closed off kitchens appears to be related more to particular cultures and their foods.
Please do a video on how to store bags in an aesthetic yet in a practical manner (ie easily accessible) 🙂
I'm so glad I found your content. what software do you use for designing?
Thanks! SketchUp, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD (sometimes)
The perspective here is completely off. I'm not here trying to make it look expensive. I want it to look good lol!
