Thanks as always brother for tuning and supporting. And yeah peated Drams may not be for everybody, but start off on the low end and go from there if you're interested in trying some new ones.
Stay tuned, more reviews are on the way. Cheers 🥃

Love Highland Park sherry bombs. Enjoying K&L's single cask 10yr european oak sherry butt 66.1%. If your in California it's a gem for the price. Cheers

Hey thanks for tuning in and supporting the channel, greatly appreciated 🙏. And yes I use to see some of those HP's when I was in California, but never did pull the trigger on one, but I wish I would have now 🤦‍♂️.
More reviews are on the way, stay tuned. Cheers 🥃

Love HP, especially the cask strength. The peat is from moss and heather rather than Islay's seaweed and woody shrubs so it has a much lighter smoke with less of the earthy, vegetal, briny notes that some people don't like.

Hey brother thanks for tuning in and supporting the channel, always appreciated 🙏. And thanks for the information on the HP peat process, as I did not know that. Greatly appreciate you dropping the jewels, as you are absolutely correct you don't get that seaweed and brine character from Highland Park whiskey's. I actually like both types of peat myself, but good to know. Stay tuned, more reviews are on the way. Cheers 🥃

Hmm. My local Total Wine put the last of Batch 2 and 3 on sale for $74 each. I may have to head out there tomorrow and buy it. Hopefully I get the same notes.

Hey brother thanks for tuning in and supporting the channel, greatly appreciated 🙏. And yes I've been collecting bottles for many years now. The glass dropper I ordered and it works pretty well with gradual drops.
Stay tuned, more reviews are on the way. Cheers 🥃

Highland park was also my gateway into peated whisky however I've had issues with some of their recent 12 yr old with the balance of the peat . The ones from a few years back were so much more complex and lasted in the bottle , I got one about a year back and it was over peated for me and flat , didn't last in the bottle just wasn't the best. I prefer glencadam stuff much more consistent.

I haven't tried the new Highland Park 12 year, I can't speak on that one, however I usually find the older expressions are usually better than the newer ones in a lot of distilleries. 🥃
