- Like many people the attic is a neglected area when it comes to organization. The phrase "out of sight, out of mind" is often used when discussing the level of organization in this area. In this video you can see just how easy it is to organize your own attic using nothing but a few scraps of dimensional lumber and plywood.

It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book ruclips.net/user/postUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.
Exactly what I want to do. Have a bunch of those Rubbermaid containers and wasn't sure if they would fit sideways in 24" spacing, but looks like they will.
Not putting anything heavy. The usual totes Xmas stuff, blankets, clothes, board games, sleeping bags.
No books or engine blocks.
Nice one mate, plain and simple. Just need a lot of wood. Have to floor it too, 10m x 4m Ouch.
Nice build Jessup! I didn't know you were a lefty... we lefties are special high five! *wink 0:12 ;) 1:43
What thickness are the shelves?
I'd be careful how much weight you put up there as the celing joists are not designed to carry a lot of weight - if you put too much weight on them the joists will probably start to bow & you will find cracks appearing in your ceiling in the joins between the plasterboard
That’s a 2x4 truss system…. Not meant for much load bearing.
