What a fabulous way to use the attic! My husband and I will be moving to a new house soon, and if there is an attic, I am so glad we now know how to effectively use the space! Thanks for sharing Kathryn!
Oh my gosh ...I just spent the day organizing my attic....we use it to store our extra clothes,shoes ,blankets etc...my back is killing me but the result was fulfilling....

you're my inspiration and every change I get I'm always looking for your videos....I shop at the dollar tree constantly being on a strict budget myself and welcome your organizing skills so I can do the same ...I pay attention to what you say about thinking exactly what it is I'm about to do and what to buy to fit in that space...thank you so much and please keep the videos coming ...

I need these in my life!!!! Lol my attic is actually pretty nice. It has carpet and everything but I don't have shelving units so it's pretty hard to keep organized.

Wow I could do with that! I can hardly get into my attic - it's super cluttered! I think I need a skip (do you call them that in the US?) to dump my junk into! Just had a thought - judging from CSI and other American shows - I think you call them (skips) garbage dumpsters, although they look a lot bigger than our skips would be, here in the UK!
I saw a youtube where you told your computer where you stored each item, number the boxes...should be able to do that with apple watch and reminders?

Our attic is not easy to get to. I'm going to look at the tresses because we can't stand up in it. Would love to do this in our crawlspace.
What kinds of things do you store in your attic? I don't put anything much in mine because of the heat and cold extremes.

OMGosh, this is so awesome!!! I have always complained to my hubby he should come up with something to go in between the trusses to store tubs on. lol He didn't think that was a good idea because it meant work for him. :-( lol

Is your attic a walk-up? Mine is, and it's much easier when bringing bins up and down. Great video, and I loved the dance party! :)
CountryLissa It has pull down stairs (like a ladder) so it's a bit harder to navigate then a stairway, but not bad. Haha...dance parties are the best :)

We just have a hole big enough for a maintenance person to stick their head in and look around with a flash light. Can't even fit a shoebox lol. Gotta love old homes and lack of storage space lol.

I'm so jealous of this space, my landlords put false ceilings in my house so I can't actually get up there to use it, so much wasted space :-(
My attic is way worse, it’s about 4 times as long, twice as wide and 10 times as disorganised.
I guess this is ok if you have more money than sense and married half a man.
waste of money. system? waste. take 2×3 or any strips. srcew in trusses and have home depot cut plywood the size you need and its cheep strong. and you save a bundle. and piece plywood
ps. straps are not patent. lol
