The word used in astanghridayam is Vari which means water. . During meal taking small ammount of water is ok but drinking alot water after meal will increase many types of poisons in your body including madhumeh (suger). . . Jatharagni means stomach acid including all the engymes. . Ayurveda(Ashtang hridayam) also states that if we drink Juice, milk, nimbu pani or lassi it'll not effect badly. . . The concept is explained with Vata, pitta, kaffa.. As kafa is Mixture of Prithvi+liquid... So liquid increases Kafa. . Pitta is Mixture of agni+liquid.. So liquid also increases pitta. . Depends on its Gunas. . . As during Our digestion our Pitta is heigh and kaffa is low so only water specially cold water'll drop the pitta and increase Kafa.. In other hand Juices and lassi etc will increase pitta.. . . Liquid is very important during meal as dry food also increases vata problems but it should be of Pitta prakriti not kafa prakriti.... . . That is the point sir.🙏🙏 . There is yet so much to Research on.

best video on internet till now i agree with 100 percent i left drinking water to avoid dilute of HCL acid but the problem was that i was in my bulking phase so i have to eat every 2 hours so their was no time for water intake it started dehydration and indigestion

I have also mentioned the books. If you find some time to really learn then do read those books. If that is too much for you, I'll give you the page numbers as well so that will save you the efforts too. Also there is a term called "evolution" probably you do not understand that as well. By nature we had been designed to live life of jungle (all the animals for that matter). Just because now you are living in concrete jungle doesn't change that design. But definitely living in concrete jungles is taking us away from the ways for which this body is designed to live. FYI, raw meat would rather take more time and energy to digest than cooked meals at home. So that gives a greater reason to not drink water during meals.

Whatever I researched as per that water is more important for our body. If you drink 1 glass every 1 or 1 and half hour then don't take much water during meal. If you drink lots of water after and before half an hour of meal It definitely improves your digestion system. During meal you can take some water if meal is more dry one, if it have already some liquid then not required any water during meal. But lot of water during meal also definitely not good for digestion. Someone drink water with every bite to swallow the food which is also bad for digestion.
According to Ayurveda , hame khana khane ke 1.5 hour baad pani pena chahiye kyunki khana khane ke 1.5 hour baad tak hamari digestive fire khane ko digest karwati hai par jab ham pani pe lete hai to digestive fire 🔥 bhuj jati hai jisse khana thik se nahi pachta aur khana khane se 40 minutes pehle hi pena chahiye but when we drink water immediately after having food ,it resuls into improper digestion of food which then results into formation of uric acid ,bad cholesterol etc. Jin western doctors ki resarch ki aap baat kar rahe hai vo khud hazaron prakar ki diseases se suffer kar rahe hai 😅😅. I was also thinking the same but after a bit Google search I found out that this guy is right . There is no scientific evidence that consuming water after meals can cause digestion issues . Just google it out buddy .

I was also thinking the same but after a bit Google search I found out that this guy is right . There is no scientific evidence that consuming water after meals can cause digestion issues . Just google it out buddy .
