    .....Some comedians are just naturally funny....
    Even at times with minimal effort and just with actions alone.....
    .....Norman Collier fitted the bill perfectly.... Just a natural very funny comedian.... Remember his shows as a child.... The Bingo routine and angry motorist skits still have me in stitches today....
    ....Great stuff....

    Saw Norman Collier live in 1980 in Bournemouth. He was Little and Large's special guest in their Summer Season that year. He was the funniest person on the show. A true one-off.

    He used to have a car door and wind up the window as he shouted at another motorist, so that, although his lips were still moving, his voice went quiet as the window closed, then his voice came back as he wound it down again. Very funny.

    Most comedians steal their act from a previous generation of performers.A classic example is Les Dawsons blatant copy of Norman Evans.Normans Colliers act was unique and orginal. RIP Norman.

    • @JETFORCEJUN0
      @JETFORCEJUN0 5 лет назад

      Ackyman okay I’m going to challenge your use of the word “brilliant” based on his material and routine in this clip.
      His opening gag is poorly delivered and Brie punch line is obvious.
      The faulty microphone which was the staple of his act for most of his career is dragged out far too long. Technically it’s well done but ceases to be funny almost immediately.
      The final element - well it’s a parody of a blackface act and just ever so racist.

    • @RevolverAnthology
      @RevolverAnthology 5 лет назад +4

      the old "racist" thing...yawnsville. I agree that bit wasn't funny though. As I said, "subjective" ....he made me laugh, that's his job
