We decided not to get the drink package because I don't drink that much on a regular basis, so I really felt that I would waste it. Instead, we budgeted $500 for drinks. After seeing your video, I know that we made the right decision. Thank you!!

Lauren, are you saying that Cheer's is not accepted at Emeril's Bistro? Are you sure that's right because I can go to any bar or restaurant (even pay restaurants like the steakhouse) and all drinks (beer, wine, coffee, soda, etc) are fully covered under Cheers. Is Emeril's exempt from that? Thanks so much!

Emeril's is the exception and probably only for coffees. My theory is that if they were included like at JavaBlue, there would be an equally long line and they wouldn't be able to sell food. I guess I didn't specifically ask on my recent cruise, but I know that on a past cruise on Celebration or Mardi Gras, I remarked about how long the coffee line was at JB but that no one was at Emeril's and the employee explained that it's not included there. It's possible that it's changed since then. If you go there and they say it's included please come back and let us know that my info is outdated!

@@laurenofalltradesthat does make sense and I can see why Emeril's wouldn't want a bunch of coffee drinkers clogging up the line for the paying guests. I'll absolutely post back my experience after I sail several months from now.
Your content is fantastic - keep up the great work!

I don't understand Carnival's BS rule about NYC and TX! I've sailed NCLH out of NYC (same port) and have drinks as soon as I get on!

The difference is because Carnival's is limited and NCL's isn't. It is bizarre but that's how the law is written.

@@laurenofalltrades I've NEVER heard that before! I've heard TX is because of something to do with local businesses or something
