  • The one and only Louie Anderson performing at Rodney Dangerfield’s 9th Annual Young Comedians Special in 1984.
Rodney's eye for talent was unmatched. In his 9th Annual Young Comedians Special on HBO, he introduced rookie Louie Anderson to the national stage for the first time along with Sam Kinison, Rita Rudner, Bob Saget and Yakov Smirnoff.

Such a funny comedian and such a great actor! It was easy to overlook Louie with everyone dying around the same time and even the same day but he’ll be missed by many he was always regarded as a super kind caring guy

While I never had anything against adult humor, but I always admired how he could be so hilarious without being dirty or cursing. One of the most talented standups of all time! R.I.P. Louie.
