Rest in Peace, Louie Anderson, you're one of the greatest stand-ups ever, i laughed at so many of routines on Sirius XM, thanks for making me smile on the way to work, sir, and i'll still listen to them.
Hi Lily my family saw you at the majety comedy club in Hermosa Beach about 35-40 years ago the bartender drop Six beers on my sister's head sitting in the front row by accident and Lewis was talking about her hair and ask her questions about wish you were too busy for the whole show was revolved around the six beers and launched on her head and they had a whole place was roaring through so much laughter and my parents become somewhat good friends with Lily over the years
He is one of the greatest stand-ups of all time and I don’t think he has ever been given his dues from the population at large. I hope sometime we can get another special or something from him so a new generation can enjoy his masterful storytelling
His peers definitely recognize him. He's been sang praises by countless of A-list comics. He is one of the all-time greats, whether the public at large realize it or not.
I remember this guy the first time on Carson. His first visit. He was a knockout. This is close to that. He is cute, self deprecating and funny with real life experiences. He speaks conversational to you. Thanks utube.
I just turned 50 and Louie is was not kidding. I saw Louie at a Casino in Vicksburg, Mississippi 25 years ago and it's still one of my most favorite memories.
I know it's kinda nuts, but I've been watching a lot of Louie's old clips and while I'm watching I forget he has gone on ahead. Thanks Louie, for being side splittingly funny and one of the most congenial entertainers I have ever enjoyed.
I remember my sister and her husband going to see Louie when he was doing a show in my hometown! They had backstage passes and after the show, they went downstairs to the lounge and sitting on the sofa was Louie himself! He welcomed them in,was very friendly and they chatted and got his autograph! A simply wonderful, kind man they said he was! R.I.P. Louie Anderson!👀👀😢😢
Best opening line for your first national t.v appearance. " I can't stay very long, I'm in between meals so please bare with me. Lol. One of my favorite comedians of all time. RIP Louie, your the greatest!
I remember his debut in Johnny Carson. Another great line from then was his saying the audience members were probably thinking “I wonder if he knows he’s that fat”.
Was so happy to see him in Vegas a few years ago. He dropped by Carrot Tops show and opened for him. My hubby and I drove home so happy feeling like winner's because we got to see Louie. Never forgot that special moment. RIP Louie, you are loved.
~Approaching 50 here & from the UK so I only came across Louie in recent years through "Baskets". It blew me away when I found out it was a man (Louie) playing the mother in the show, so talented and so missed. I am sad but glad to have come across this master of comedy and story telling.
We've lost so many great celebrities in the past several months. And Louie Anderson was among them. RIP Louie. Your specials will bring laughter for generations to come
He was very gifted! He had nice clean comedy and he was a very polite individual loved by sooooooo many people NOT ONE BAD THING can be said about him. He made the world smile.
Oh Louie…❤️❤️❤️…you left us too soon. We love you so much. I hope your Soul is well back out in The Universe and Thank You for being so wonderful while you were here on earth. OX
I met him one time at my work place. He asked me if I had a match to light his cigarette. I didn’t recognize him until I said no and he yelled out “What the hell kind of place is this?!” I looked up and it was him. He was alright. RIP big guy.
I live in a suburb south of Chicago. Saw him at KJ Riddles in Tinley Park. A few of us saw him probably more than 15 years ago but I always thought he was funny and he put on a great show. We were laughing the whole time. Sorry he passed away.
I'm sure glad I got to see Louie at Bally's in Las Vegas in 1996. He talked about gamblers and his late night craving story about seeking out pickled Beets. It was hilarious!
RIP Fine sir. Thanks for sharing your skills. You brought needed smiles and laughter to so many people. It really saddened me when I heard you left us. You are missed........
Three of my top comedians are Louis Anderson, Stephen Wright, and Paula Poundstone oh I don’t want to forget Jim Gaffigan. These comedians never ever say the F word… They don’t need to.😂😂😂❤❤❤
Thank you for posting this performance. Louie was a very nice guy. My sister was his attorney for awhile and I got to meet and chat with him at her home as well as at one or two of my mom's birthday parties. My mom loved Louie because he was such a sweet person, and very patient with and very respectful of older adults. RIP, Louie. You are still missed.
No f-bombs, no vulgarity, just good clean fun. Thanks buddy and rest in peace

I grew up on that, really great show. I miss him so much, no vulgarity in hes comedy. Rest in peace Louie.
😭😂
Life with louie?
Google "watch online cartoon"
I grew up with the cartoon life with Louie, where much of his standup was put into cartoon form.
He is one of the greatest stand-ups of all time and I don’t think he has ever been given his dues from the population at large. I hope sometime we can get another special or something from him so a new generation can enjoy his masterful storytelling
I remember the cartoon he had on fox.
What year were you born? Because he cam in during the 80’s comedy boom. Had lots of specials and had his own Saturday morning cartoon series.
His peers definitely recognize him. He's been sang praises by countless of A-list comics. He is one of the all-time greats, whether the public at large realize it or not.
RIP we'll never get another one like him
Baskets is a masterpiece

I love hearing the audience laughing hysterically at Louis Anderson's jokes. It brings me joy.

Louie Anderson and John Pinette some of my favorite comedians of all time, I think both were severely underrated may they R.I.P.
That is pure classic comedy. This guy goes from good natured family fun into dark wit so smoothly.
I saw him in Las Vegas in 2002 and laughed the entire show.
Thanks Louie. We needed you badly.
I Miss this guy. He could take the most mundane events in life and with his unique delivery make them so relatable and funny.

Farley, Hinson, this man, Pryor, so many more but these were off the charts with humor. The dramatics they displayed was top notch. Sad to see em gone
Flawless delivery, and relatable comedy. Absolutely the best!

I really miss this incredible guy. Thankfully, I got to see him twice. His stories made me laugh and cry....

Rest In Peace Louie. One of the best comedians ever. What a nice man.
I rarely burst out with laughter watching his set, but he is funny and certainly an entertaining showman.
He absolutely is as good a comedian as there is, his command of an audience is superb. One of the best parts of his act is his voices.

😂😂😂😂😂😩
50 I was fine, 60 still good then 70.. OMG I'm glad you're here....
I always love louie's deliberate use of avoiding eye contact for certain jokes. It's like a signature thing he does to imitate people and I love him
Probably the most likable and consistently funny comics of all time!
It took me until recently to realize how great this guy was. I just didn’t get how brilliant he was when I was a kid.
Same here. Didn’t realize.
Thanks Louie just what I needed today rest in peace buddy🤣🤣🙏

I actually watched Louie's 1st appearance on the Tonight Show (starring Johnny Carson). I still remember the impact.
