I was introduced to Shin Ramyun when I taught English in South Korea back in 2001. It was literally my first meal I had with my host family (the owners of the hagwan and their kid). They made a couple of packages of Shin Ramyun and we all ate it family style right out of the pot. I have picked it up regularly from the international section of my grocer ever since. It's the only ramen that I eat.

Hello from the future! 👋🏻 I just wanted to thank you guys for doing such a great job! Ur vids have been a great source of inspiration for my homecooked meals (esp during this pandemic) and they're so entertaining too! I discovered ur recipe vids last year (I think the Homemade Korean BBQ was my 1st one) and have been a fan ever since! After watching almost all the recipe ones, Im now tracing back to ur older vids and came across this exact video! I guess this was the beginning to the recipe vids that made me a fan later on eh? Anyways I think u guys have come a long way and improved SO SO MUCH. Keep up the amazing work for this channel and fighting!! Love from Malaysia ❤️

My favourite is Shin Ramen 'Black'. It has an additional flavour pack with concentrated bone marrow broth with garlic. It's great. I saw your older video a few months back, and I have to agree with you, that little bit of added garlic does bring it to a new level if there is no garlic, and green onions freshen things up a bit. I just add the egg in the last 30 seconds and don't break it - trying to keep the egg yolk whole. For the ramen you used, I often mix in a spoonful of peanut butter and some finely chopped broccoli. Try it! Don't worry about your English. Good luck with RUclips! Subscribed!

Aaron. Sometimes, your greatest weakness, is your greatest strength. Sometimes, your most embarrassing moment, is your most defining moment. SOMETIMES, that which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Keep up the videos. I've learned a ton of recipes from you that make me happy and smile (stir fried tuna, golden fried rice, potato cheese balls, potato croquette, etc, etc, etc) . I've adopted your "don't worry 'bout it. I'm here for you" phrase. I've loved adding an egg to my instant ramen for a long time, but I never thought of removing the noodles, and THEN adding the green onion (YUM) and egg afterward, filling the bowel after it cooks. Can't wait to try. Love the recipes. Just use what's in your kitchen. If you don't have it, you can skip it!

Due to my hunger I started boiling the water before watching the video and was too late to mince the garlic and unfortunately in my region we don't have you kind of onions but in all it turned out great and the egg, wow it was incredible. Thanks you've made my supper.

Omg I just made it and it turned out AMAZING!!! I have never used the full packet f the soup because it was always too spicy! For some reason, it’s not that spicy this way!
