I have a Rove 16RB, but I love watching any mods done on vans and small trailers. I’m now subscribed to both of your channels, and I’m looking forward to following your adventures.
I had my dealer install a Renogy flexible 200W panel to my trailer, and they used tape as well. Thanks for the tip re the 3M HVB tape. I just checked to see if that was the tape I ordered from Amazon for use inside my trailer. I found that they have white and clear tape available as well as the black. They recommend applying the tape vertically-something that I wasn’t aware of-and to use an adhesion promoter-had never heard of that!

I have the 3M Very High Bonding tape that Hobotech recommended, too. I have it securing my 250W solar panel, 3 years in Phoenix, still holding tight. Highly recommended!!

Hey Lorraine! Years ago, I had two Ford Thunderbirds, a 1977 with a 351 Windsor engine, and a 1978 with the same engine bored out to 400 cu. in. at the factory, a rare 'bird. The '78 also had the trailer towing package - heavy duty transmission and suspension and an oversized radiator and water pump, but the first owner assured me he'd never towed anything with it, and I believed him - he was my uncle. That car had only 3,500 miles on it when I bought it from him, and I removed the trailer hitch, put in a Kenwood powerhouse stereo system and used it for many roadtrips. Beautiful leather interior; I put in real sheepskin seatcovers, new floor mats, and a leather steering wheel wrap. That car was a creampuff, and it was like driving the living room couch. 85 mph was an easy cruise, and I made lots of L.A. to San Francisco trips, as well as a couple of trips to the East Coast and back. Such a dream, and never any engine or transmission problems. Ford did that one right, it was still running strong at 205,000 miles when I sold it after seven years. You are right about the Windsor engines! They were still using them in your van and other vehicles almost twenty years after my 'birds. Love your video, thanks for sharing! Instead of the lace, you can put wood but drill holes in the wood panel so it still has air flow. You could use peg board, or you can even drill holes in the wood along the side of the bed, too, so you have better air flow.
Oh my gosh, that van is so cozy, I can see myself traveling in something like that full-time too😍
My favorite thing is the electrical and propane genset!! Super power setup that is functional whatever conditions. I am also an EcoFlow fan so was certainly paying 100% attention! Great reno!! ***Edited to add YES to Hobotech ... he is the man as far as I'm concerned for good info re many items.

I have the same bed setup and I use a tension rod with a curtain to cover my garage stuff. I can pull it off completely and set it on the bed and then put it back easily.

For the garage, I would sew Velcro onto lightweight fabric or screening and staple the other side to the garage door. That way when it gets worn out you can replace it easily.

This is so cool. What fun. You two are hilarious. The lace story reminded of a friend and me trying to hang drapes. She's about 5'7" and I'm a height challenged 5' even. This was at the end of a long day and we got them on the rod, she on one side of the rather large window, me on the other, trying to tippy toe on a stool to reach my side to hook the rod and I got the giggles, because she was teasing me, she started laughing and we finally just gave up for an hour or so. Sometimes, ya just gotta give it up. Looks like you two had a great weekend. Safe travels.

when you find the gallon jug, also please find why you keep it in the van!! LOL 🤣🤣
The empty gallon jug is in case your vehicle over heats. The thought behind it is you can water from a river, pond or ditch to replace the water that went out with the steam from your radiator, just be sure you let the vehicle cool down first.
but why not just take the jug full of water? I still don't get the empty bottle need!! lol

We have a lot in common Lulu, Im retired, my van is my big girls toy! so I like to work on it myself, it is my enjoyment as well. I go on roadtrips from my home base and love being on the road. I want the latter years of my life to be something that I have pleasure in doing rather that having to do stuff. I love your enthusiasm for life and you tell it like it is , yes way to go Lulu!!
