- Milk used to be simple. And now, it isn't.
With so many variants and so many narratives of "Dairy is the most nutritious" one can't help but wonder, why do vegan milks even exist?
It's so hard to figure out which milk is the best for you and if switching to an alternative has any effect at all.
We'll talk about that in today's episode.

4:30 thats a logical fallcy, no? Why does being shelf stable make it unhealthy?
This video is highly misleading.
Homogenisation just makes fat uniform and it doesn't increase shelf life. The daily milk packets you buy from dairy shops are all homogenised but the shelf life is very small just like normal loose milk.
The fact of having long shelf life comes from UHT treatment given to milk. So UHT treated milk packed in a Tetra pack gives high shelf life and not the homogenisation as stated in this video.
Word of caution: Don't believe any thing easily on youtube especially if it is coming form influencers. Question everything
Also nothing wrong with long shelf life.
I would love to see a comparison between all plant-based milks. Thanks :)
Do your own research then.
Soy unfortunately also causes digestion issues, thyroid issues, has phytoestrogen which mimics estrogen, and either prevents or causes cancer depending on what study you read.
you describe everything so clearly best channel 👍🏼
Does adding Almond Milk Black Coffee break a fast? I know it has "calories" but it breaks up the harshness of acidic coffee.
The video was quite informative. Could you do one on dark chocolates?
Noted, thank you ❤️
Don’t know if you can answer this or not but the stories of Krishna loving makhan/milk was marketing? Since you mentioned the 20’s where milk production was more than consumption?
Also, no mention of milk in the Vedas or Gita!!
Without good lights video looks very flat. Btw content is good, 👍
Great content..keep it up.thanks for sharing
I have a question.
Can adding coffee to milk reduce its absorption efficiency?
Please compare and enlighten us on whether imported vegetables are more nutritional than local vegetables which are becoming unnecessarily popular these days. For example broccoli vs cauliflower, lettuce vs cabbage, cucumber vs zucchini. Also local food alternatives to Oats, Quinoa, brown rice and any local antioxidant sources compared to blueberries and blackberries.
Why do you want to compare broccoli vs cauliflower or lettuce vs cabbage or cucumber vs zucchini? They are different vegetables with different nutritional values. And all of the vegies that you talked about here are actually grown in India lmao. India is the second and third largest producer of broccoli and lettuce respectively. Zucchini is a new type of vegetable which has started to grow in India as well. Your last questions are good though.
@@chiefdvm1671 They indeed are different vegetables with different pricing category and my question is whether the premium veggies are really worth the hype and my money. I wouldn't wonder if Zucchini production increases rapidly in the upcoming years and I didn't literally mean that the brocolli/lettuce I'm eating is actually imported across the oceans on to my plate.
@@satishradhe well you literally gave examples of imported vegetables, but fair enough.
Good video but didn't cover important points regarding dairy - A1 vs A2 milk, grass-fed vs non-grassfed and hormones and antibiotics injected into the cows and other malpractices which affect the quality of the milk.
They use whey protein in their products i wonder if thats from grass fed a2 milk .they probably didnt go into it intentionally :-/
@@nithin7549 that could be the case
Yes you’re right i mailed them regarding this previously they use saputo whey protein 80 which isn’t a2 & is locally sourced ( its from delhi ) as a2 is expensive & also I don’t know brand who produces a2 protein powders. they would have intensely ignored that part. Also the soy is under top 3 allergens just like peanuts. The best is A2 milk in terms of nutrition & if someone is intolerant then A2 curd & A2 ghee made in ayurvedic way is best bet.
A1 - A2 is s scam... It has no science backing... It is just 19/20 difference being used by marketers to justify overpricing
I think it's intent to not go that deep.
We have two types of cow.
Desi cow or jersi cow which we get in packing.??
Incomplete information.
Very informative video! Thank you!
A small question: how does one find out if their milk is homogenised? Packet milk (from Amul/Gokul, etc.) that we need to boil before storing is non-homogenised, right?
Written on the packet, they are homogeneous 😢
ohh no!? :/ I wonder why we boil and store it then :/@@nomadicsoul2242
more importantly, which are the non-homogenised milk alternatives out there?

This is not a fair comparison, if we are comparing tetra packs then we should we should compare cow, almond and soy. And similarly comparison with all of them in natural home made form.

It would have been nice to see other brands name. Which one is better, oat or soy milk?
Soy is garbage. Unhealthy.
who said Homogenized milk is unhealthy ????
Thanks for d.info on nut milk i was surprised
No worries!
Can u make a vedio on hair loss cure treatment and natural products
What about A2 milk ?
Its 10x better than a1 but also very expensive
I like whole milk and sometimes gold top (jersey cow)
Wait wtf I didn't know the difference between homogenized and non homogenized milk.. Omg thank you for this video
Glad we could help :)

Sorry but i love my regular cow milk 😍❤️..
I really don't even go into those 👍
Oat Milk is the best🥛
It’s not milk. It’s full of crap on it. Read the label.
@@MLagarde0425 On the one I have here at the moment. It's Water mostly, oat, some sunflower oil, calcium carbonate (added calcium), dipotassium phosphate, and sea salt.
The only weird ingredient really is the dipotassium and I think they added that (and the oil most likely) because this one's a barista blend.
It's Soy/Almond etc Beverages not Milk. You only get milk 🥛 from mammals
Soy is most of the time a GMO. I don't recommend anybody to drink it
One more truth not mentioned here is that the FDA approves your cows milk to have a percentage of blood and puss in it which can’t be avoided when harvesting it. And by the way the main use and purpose of all mammals milk is to feed its own young and only for a certain time period. Man is the only one who cross feeds. Maybe that’s part of why we sometimes act like animals. 😢

hip
This is probably one of the worst videos about dairy. It doesn’t cover anything about how dairy consumption has been linked to increased risks of cancer, diabetes, cardio vascular issues and many more dangerous health conditions d it doesn’t cover how consuming another animal’s milk doesn’t make sense. There’s a reason 70% of the world can’t digest lactose, because milk is meant for the initial nourishment of a baby and for him/her to get antibodies to fight diseases when they’re young and because after about 2-3 years of age all children can eat normal solid food, a majority of them loose the ability to digest the sugar lactose because it just doesn’t have any part in a healthy diet. There have also been many studies showing that countries with the highest consumption of dairy also have the highest rates of osteoporosis. Hopefully one day when we no longer wish to torture animals for food we’ll look to better alternatives like vegan milks
obveusle wer not goeng too murdr for the mune
Torture animals? Shame on you. We don't do that here in northern NSW. Our cows are happy.
