I had a similar saving up to buy a mount experience with epic flying in BC. When I finally bought that thing and lifted off the ground the speed of it so took me by surprise that I don’t know if I’ve ever felt anything quite like it in all of my gaming experience
Lok'amir Il' romathus...still to this day my proudest moment in WoW. Pretty sure I was the first on our server in classic to get one ally side on my resto druid. Remember rolling against a shadow priest for it (which looking back is ridiculous it should have been prio'd to me but the spriest was an officer) and when I won was genuinely jumping for joy. Such a cool looking weapon too with great lore behind it.
I remember the first time I saw someone riding the Great White Kodo too… it was in like 2007-2008 I was on a trial account and for some reason the guy was riding around in the one random dwarf quest area in Mulgore / Bloodhoof village, I was in awe.
Bro! I completely forgot that after a few solo dungeon runs on my vanilla rogue to just get select items, I started doing rogue+Druid groups! Holy shit that was 15 years ago I bet. Stealth runs were more fun than any normal run
@@HamsterWheelGamingmade me feel like I was actually learning my class and how to do group stuff. You gotta have on point mechanics and teamwork when your only heals are a feral Druid that panicked back into a tauren when we accidentally pulled 3 groups lll Edit: your channel for nostalgia is my new thing to do lately. Haven't played in so long and our experiences were similar enough that I'm getting good nostalgia dopamine
Mark of the Dragon Lord from LBRS... Similar story as your ZG staff, my group all decided to give it to me (resto shaman) because it gives a buff with 500 shield + 22 MP5. I will never forget that group. I also won the Gemstone for the UBRS key in the same run. Talk about LUCK.
I ran UBRS 100 times to get my Lightforged spaulders back in 2005 so i could turn them into Soulforged. 3 runs a night tru the whole UBRS. Real gamers don't quit Hamster!! :)
Yeah Wildheart Shoulders are amazing, the complete set is so unique, still my favourite druid set although Im wearing a T1/T2 mix on my real classic druid atm.
Flurry Axe is one of my favorites in Classic. I always wanted one, and since I started playing Classic, I've found two so far. XD I used both of course, not going to sell such a beauty.
The early and mid 2000's was a very popular time for edgy nu-metal bands like Limp Bizkit, Korn, Linkin Park. Many of them which ended up in several pvp videos :) I remember feeling like a badass with my crappy balance druid, throwing starfires while I my speakers were blasting 'I TRIED SO HARD, AND GOT SO FAAARRRR'
I grinded Tyrs Hand for weeks to get the gold for my epic mount. One of the best memories of classis Wow. Of course with my Winamp playlist in the background 😆
I made the money for my first epic mount in 2005 with fisching (deviat supreme) bought the rezepte cheap, cought the fish and sold it for good gold in the ah ☺
I know this is an old video, i just wanted to let you know i giggled at your white kodo story. "welfare kodo"? Lol. Then the oh so painful resto farming. Eek. I was in the same boat on my shaman. I liked healing but questing became very not fun. Never so happy when Blizz added dualspec. Questing ele in resto spec wasn't ideal either, but waaay less painful. I enjoy your channel.
Was an elemental shaman back in the day for pvp (locked to resto for raiding of course). My guild did Naxx up to 4 horsemen, yet damn lok'amir was locked to priests for some reason :/
There is one item that i never got, but i farmed it since btc (yeah its not vanila item).Ashes of Al'arI lost a count of how many times i killed Kael'thas Sunstrider. But yeah...i farmed it since tbc to pandaland (when i permaquit) almost every week. And even with alts after that was possible.
As far as you never getting the dungeon set shoulders... I feel for you mate. I farmed Scolo so much that I nearly had to pay them rent. Not only did I get the t1 helmet before... I got t2 too... never did get the lightforged helm.
I did about about 25 scholo runs now, never saw a wildheart cap drop... meanwhile I have my T2 Stormrage cap from ony lol.. I wanted the dungeon set head so badly

Thank you for the nostalgia. Very well told story i wish i had stayed in touch with my raid team from those days
good old times; brought back memories. good video!

Took me 11 runs of LBRS back in the day to get the druid shoulders
"Killing Twilight Mobs in Silithus ..."
Oh God, this was SUCH an underrated way to get gold.

Wow thats amazing dude!
The most fun I ever had in Vanilla was doing stealth runs through LBRS.
@Sparka good for you
[Robes of Arugal] can't be resisted of liking it

that weapon is amazing for my protection paladin i couldn't imagine trying to tank without it
I love how many people have this "I grinded with edgy nu-metal on my .mp3" memory.

I still use, and probably always will use, Winamp.
Winamp: Old but gold
It really kicks the llama's ass
I ran LBRS around 50 times to get these shoulders.

Lol yeah dualspec and flat spell power were Gods gift to healers who couldnt solo farm anything
WINAMP. It really whips the llama's ass!
+100 for that reference
13:59 I'm tilted that a priest would want that over benediction or BRD's one hand
Hehe well that just goes to show how terrible we were back in the day :)

Haha yep, iknowthatfeel
The one time Beaststalker's cap dropped, I DCed right before the boss died. So many runs and never got it...
I did about about 25 scholo runs now, never saw a wildheart cap drop... meanwhile I have my T2 Stormrage cap from ony lol.. I wanted the dungeon set head so badly
listening to the Cronix channels back in the day by chance Hamster?
What was the song name during the video? Around 6:08-6:15 please and thanks :)
what's the video of that elemental shaman at 3:05?
Can u link?
So will the two on use spell damage trinkets be able to stack when ZG comes out for classic wow?
Don't think so, Blizzard is not going through the patches apart from just the content releasing, not changes regarding items/classes/etc
👍

I can be your favourite item baby
You already are bae
🤣
kinda misleading title, you're talking about vanilla here not classic. otherwise entertaining!
They are literally the same items.
Wolfs head is not "sweet stats" it's broken, no item ever was BIS for not only vanilla, that damn thing was a thing until wotlk.
dislike for playing druid
Very subjective list. Pretty shit items to be honest.
Low effort video …
I firmly disagree but ok
Shut it
