I understand where you are coming from but I can honestly say I have had 0 issues with this laying flat for me. I don't have any curled up edges on my unit. The 6mm Poron base really is different.

and I wonder why... usually they roll them up to save on shipping costs but they are charging 65 EUR for this. Makes no sense
