wonderful video, loved the atmosphere! I also loooveee hearing more about you, your thoughts and opinions. Please keep on creating content the way you want to and don‘t let anyone tell you what to say or to do and don‘t let anyone restrict you to the knitting!
This is so heartwarming! Rebecca and Emily sounds like literal angels! I'm so glad you had a great weekend! Oh, and the photos you took of each other are absolutely gorgeous wow!
Such a lovely video, Marlene! Thank you for bringing us along with you. I completely connected with your commentary on meeting virtual friends IRL. These friendships we forge online are just as deep and real as those we form with folks in our day to day lives and it’s something beautiful when we can take them “offline”. ❤
The event sounds like a fun experience! I knitted Afterparty as an "afterparty" after finishing my Bachelor's a few years ago. 😀 I've lost weight since then, so I wear it only at home sometimes, but I've been thinking recently to knit it again in a smaller size!
Such a wonderful weekend! I've currently got a sweater on my needles with Biches Bushes yarn. it's a beautiful lambswool and really nice yarn to knit with. enjoy
What a lovely trip. I’m sorry you had a migraine but glad you enjoyed yourself otherwise. How sweet of your new friends to help you celebrate your birthday and also offer the haircut. That is very special.
The Swiss Yarn Festival is definitely on my list of festivals to go to. It sounds like you had a lovely trip. It must have been so nice meeting your online friends in real life.
Hi Marlene, Hab dich gleich abonniert.
Really relate to the positive side of Internet. I learn German by meeting people online. I eventually visit them in Germany and they also came to my house in Canada! 😅 great episode! 😊
What a lovely wool festival. I hope ro go there one day. I saw a jersey which I fell in love with but I don't know which one it is. Can anyone help? It is shown at 1:37 minutes into the video.
I do not know what pattern this is unfortunately but this was the biches & bûches booth so you might find out more information through their website / instagram ☺️ crossing my fingers that’s you’ll find it!
unfortunately I won’t this year, flights are just too expensive but hopefully I’ll be able to come back in the future some day! ☺️ loved visiting the shop last summer! x
My first time watching your podcast. I really enjoyed watching your vlog and everything you purchased and received ❤🧶 Random question? Anyone ever told you, you favor Drew Barrymore, the actress and talk show host? Happy knitting 🧶
So sorry you cant make the Flock event. I would have loved to see you. It will be my first fiber festival. Im looking for a roommate to share a room with. Im from Alaska if anyone is interested ❤
I‘m not sure! I wouldn’t want to assume anything or feeling like I know enough about it to connect it to a cultural background! I think a lot of times it’s good marketing and brands telling a compelling story which makes you want to be part of „it“ and it’s also a „hype“ thing maybe?
I enjoyed your trip to the Swiss Yarn Festival. Such a beautiful country, and lots of beautiful yarn. However, I don’t agree with your comment about J. K. Rowling. She has actual common sense. Women and men are biologically different, and thank God for that. Just saying you feel like the other doesn’t make you that. You’ll be wise to keep those types of opinions out of your knitting videos. Your knitting is great
dear ruth, no one is arguing against biological differences but there is no such thing as gender being binary and I don’t like someone telling me that „i‘ll be wise not to share an opinion“ just because someone else might believe something different. I‘m a person with a strong sense of justice and that all people should be treated with respect and that doesn’t end with my cis gendered friends. please keep in mind that I‘m not a surface that other people can project there world views on to, I’m a multifaceted person, not just a knitter and certainly not just here for your entertainment. please do feel free to stop watching videos and normalize unfollowing people if that’s something that helps you navigate your time online.
Ruth, perhaps you need to consider that your views are not wanted. Start your own channel where you judge others at will. You will surely find a lot of bigots to follow you. Now be gone with you.
Ruth, you’d be wise to keep your close minded views to yourself. The actual definition of a”gender” includes “actual or perceived sex, gender identity, and gender expression including a person’s actual or perceived gender related self image, appearance, behavior, expression, or their gender related characteristic, REGARDLESS of the sex assigned to that person at birth”.
wonderful video, loved the atmosphere! I also loooveee hearing more about you, your thoughts and opinions. Please keep on creating content the way you want to and don‘t let anyone tell you what to say or to do and don‘t let anyone restrict you to the knitting!
I appreciate you saying that so much 🧡
The bag story brought tears to my eyes….it’s so nice to hear of such kind people in this world& the knitting community 🤎🧶🙌
aww imagine how I felt in the moment 🤗🥹 it’s truly special!
This is so heartwarming! Rebecca and Emily sounds like literal angels! I'm so glad you had a great weekend! Oh, and the photos you took of each other are absolutely gorgeous wow!
aw thank you!! ☺️

I‘m so glad you enjoyed the video and were able to relate to this aspect ☺️ I very much agree with what you added! 🧡

that sounds like a lovely celebration of an accomplishment 🧡
That bag is gorgeous! That's so lovely that they secretly bought it for you
A lovely episode - and virtual visit to Zurich and the Swiss Yarn Festival. Love that bag too!
I'm so excited to see those Biches Buches yarns! They look amazing! And, looking forward to see your upcoming After Party project.

thank you Nayla! I thought so too, it was all very lovely of them ☺️
The Swiss Yarn Festival is definitely on my list of festivals to go to. It sounds like you had a lovely trip. It must have been so nice meeting your online friends in real life.
I really enjoyed my time there! highly recommend it ☺️ it was so nice to meet them!

Such a lovely vlog and reflection on online communities ❤

how wonderful 💛
Hi
Do you happen to have the link to the vendor selling knitting needle cases please ?
Hi, did you mean this one? minuk.eu/product/nadeltasche-travel-hellgrau/ otherwise I’ll have to check again as I’m not sure I know which one you mean!
@@marleneknits Hi

maybe and hopefully another time!
hope you have a lovely time there ☺️
Pine trees ❤️❤️❤️
Do you think that anxious energy or scarcity/ FOMO mentality is an American thing? I'm a US resident and my husband and I have often wondered that?
I‘m not sure! I wouldn’t want to assume anything or feeling like I know enough about it to connect it to a cultural background! I think a lot of times it’s good marketing and brands telling a compelling story which makes you want to be part of „it“ and it’s also a „hype“ thing maybe?

thank you so much Bronwyn 💕

You’re entitled to your own opinions just as she is entitled to hers
Maybe you shouldn’t tell people what to say on their own damn channel.
