Hi Bobbi. 👋🏼 It’s so nice to sit and knit while enjoying your podcast again. You have some inspiring summer projects. I’m actually knitting on my 4th Anker Tee and will cast on another as soon as I have this one done. I’ve never obsessed over any pattern before like I have with this one, lol. That rose color would be a stunning Anker Tee for sure but I really don’t think you could go wrong with any solid color for that pattern. I’m looking forward to seeing yours finished my friend. 🤗
Hi Christie! I love my Anker Tee so much! I must knit more!! I love the Anker Tee you were wearing in your latest podcast. It inspired me to knit one also. The blue color looked gorgeous on you! Take care my friend! Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️😊
Hi and thanks for finding your channel 😍 I'm from Denmark, and it's so fun to see that Danish and Scandinavian designers reach so far in the world. And also that yarn, for example from Norway, also comes from far and wide. "Belle" from Drops has the same content as "Line", but I think "Line" has a better quality cotton. I want to follow you because you are very pleasant to listen to and have a nice Scandinavian style. 🙏🏼
Hello Karin! I’m so happy you enjoy my channel! I love all the wonderful Danish and Scandinavian designers patterns! They are so creative! I would love to visit Denmark someday. Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching my little RUclips channel! Have a wonderful day! ❤️😊
It was so nice to see you again dear friend. What a beautiful collection you have and I love all of your suggestions. Nice to see that you are already feeling better and back home. 💖😘💖
Your green colorwork sweater is gorgeous. If that one row of flowers bothers you check out color dominance in colorwork knitting which has todo with the position of your yarns, (above or below). 😊
This is my first time watching your podcast and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be tuning in to watch more episodes ❤ I found your yarn and pattern suggestions helpful.
You are a beautifully neat knitter. My stocking stitch never looks even and I’ve been knitting for years.. your chosen yarns are all gorgeous and I love the soft greens. Super knits. Tfs 😊
Thank you for a nice podcast and so many beautiful sweathers.. I often use double yarn with Tynn Line instead of Line because for me the porsjects get more soft...I look forward to next episode 🙂
Hello from the UK, just a short note to say how much I enjoy watching your videos and appreciate how much work you put in to produce such informative videos. I very much like your aesthetics. Excellent work. Thank you for sharing with us.
This was a fantastic video. Exactly what I was interested in and done so well. I’m looking forward to the sleeveless bundle podcast you are going to do. I’m in Florida and we are touching 90* already. I need cool materials and short sleeves fast. Thanks so much for the info! 😁🧶
Hey, Bobbi, First time here and I thoroughly enjoyed your showcase of summer knits__love them all! 💖 Never heard of your 'special' BO technique, looks fantastic__wrote a note to try it myself! 😺 Seems 'everyone' is using Sandnes Garn yarns for their summer knits this year. 😛 Have a great Mother's Day! 🙏😇✨💫🌱🌿🌻🐝🌳🌎💖🙌😺
Hi , love those yarns, I my knitting with Tyne Lynn right now. My two comments on the yarn are I hate 50 gm balls…so many ends😊. Secondly a warning to those who have this kind of problem, these yarns are splitty.. Your tees are lovely and lovely on you. They are for those who look good in round yoke sweaters and this would not be me. Isabel Kramer has mastered patterns for seamless knitting that are less tubey .
Hello! I have found that if I use bamboo needles there is less splitting. My stainless steel needles are very pointy and seem to split the cotton yarns more. The Sandnes Garn Line and Tynn Line do not make me hot. They are blended with 53% cotton, 33% viscose and 14% linen. I’m very comfortable wearing any tops made with cotton blend yarns. The Linen Quill yarn by Purl SoHo is 50% fine highland wool, 35% alpaca and 15% linen. It is definitely a “warmer” yarn. I wouldn’t recommend it to be worn outside on a hot day. It’s fine if you’re inside in air conditioning. I will check out Isabell Kramer’s patterns that use a different construction other than the circular yoke! Thank you so much for your kind comment and for watching my channel. ❤️😊
Hi Bobby Your knitted sweaters are beautiful After watching last summers episode I have just started Lanikai summer tee Thank you for all the info you talk about in knits and the wools used I want to use knitting for olive yarn and the line Thankful I found you’re pod Have a great weekend !!!😊🥰🇨🇦 Barber Cords is what they’re called
The Linen Quill Rosewood is lovely and it would be perfect in the Anker Tee. As many have said, your knits are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them and mentioning all the yarn info and making/pattern tips!
Several viewers suggested I knit the Anker Tee with Rosewood. So, I started a new one with the Rosewood Linen Quill! It is really pretty! Thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! 😊
Thanks for this super informative episode! My stash of Linen Quill is destined for some of your recommended patterns. Thanks again (and your sweaters are gorgeous!).
Another wonderful podcast! I can’t wait to go check out your bundle, it’s definitely time to start my summer knits! For your Petite knit Ankers top/shirt you can add short rows in between the sections. This tip is from Tesh from the Mostly Knitting podcast 😊She has a video or two where she discusses this. Have a great day! 💓
Love your voice so calm and your so helpful with all your recommendations. I am a new fitted garment knitter and it is alway helpful to get advice like yours. THANK YOU!
Hello Bobbi, your summer knits are so beautiful ! The little blue things with your barber cords are to use at the ends, you push down on the top of them so you can thread the cords through to keep your garment safe, hope that makes sense :)
For a woman over 50, I am so happy to listen to your podcast and be inspired by your knitting. All your tees are beautiful! You have inspired me so much. Thank you.
Hi Susan! Thank you for suggesting the Pasadena Pullover. I looked it up and it’s beautiful! I’ve added it to my favorites! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 🥰
Hello! Just by chance I have come across your video and I have to say I have enjoyed it so very much! You are so calm and gentle and I felt like I was sitting with you in your room and enjoying your company. Wonderfully detailed to the right degree and you covered loads. Off to watch a few more of yours now…thank you so very much 😊😊
What a beautiful collection of knitted summer tops! I am from the tropics in Australia and have been searching the internet for patterns like these. I hope I am able to find stockists of the yarns you have recommended in Australia too. I will definitely be browsing your Ravelry bundle.
If you can’t find Sandnes Garn Line in Australia, I hear that Drops Belle is very similar to Line and less expensive. Thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! ❤️😊 a.co/d/1gdsGQY
I have salty air tee on my needles right now. I packed up my peach fuzz, Sophie shawl, and rift for time out until fall. Just too warm already for wool. Back to summer knits.
I know, I’ve been doing nothing but knit summer tees! I finished my Anker Tee by Petite Knit and I’m almost finished with my Clover Tee by LeKnit. The cool weather knits will have to wait for now. Thank you so much for commenting and for watching! ❤️😊
I love all your tees and will be casting at least one for this summer. I knitted the Anke Tee last year in a lilac cotton and I love it! I hope you knit one in the rouge colour, it will be beautiful 😍
Hello! I cast on a new Anker Tee in the Rosewood Linen Quill!! You’re right, it is a beautiful color! Thank you for watching and for the lovely comment! ❤️😊
I'm so glad I found your channel! I've been working on the Plain Yoke Tee 20 with the Line. I have the same feelings about the designer and yarn! I'm not quite 45 years old, but it is so encouraging to find another Southern woman who knits. You've made me think to try the Ranunculus. Hello! from northwest Mississippi!
I love your podcasts. You have such a sweet way about you; I could easily see you as a dear friend if we lived in the same state! I have been knitting for over 50 years, but I still find lots to learn and lots of inspiration from your episodes. You OBVIOUSLY enjoy knitting as much as I do! A woman after my heart! ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely we’d be fast friends! I would love to have a knitting buddy near by! Thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching my little podcast! Have a great day! ❤️😊
So glad to find you again. I believe the cords are called Barber cords. They can be used for what you demonstrated, and they can be used as life lines as well.
I just stumbled onto your channel. I’m currently knitting the Anker’s Summer Shirt. I’ve knitted it once before, but I used a size that was way too big for me and the yarn was itchy also. This time I’m using Juniper Moon Farm Zooey Spray color 306 Hidden Lagoon. It’s a beautiful color of light green, blue with some white. Looks so much like summer! I also went down 3 sizes. I have lost some weight, but I’ve been so concerned with finishing a project that was too small when done that I’ve gone too big.
Hello! I’m knitting size 2 and I keep trying on my Anker Tee which is knit with fingering weight. It seems a little large. For me, it’s best to knit my sweaters a little small because mine are always larger after wet blocking and drying. Let me know how your new Anker Summer Shirt turns out. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Bobbi 😊❤️
Thank you for all of those lovely suggestions for summer knits and yarns. Your sweater is absolutely exquisite. You are a beautiful knitter and you have every right to be proud of it.
I've knit the Petite knit Cumulus tee 4 times. I absolutely love their patterns. I knit 4 of the kids version of the Anker and they turned out amazing. But I haven't knit it for myself because there are no short rows and neck is too high. I'm thinking of trying it and maybe doing short rows in between the rows. BTW, they are called Barber Cords. Great makes Bobbi!
Hello! Wow! I’ll bet your Cumulus Tee and the Anker kids tees you knit are gorgeous! You’ve inspired to knit more Petite Knit patterns. Another viewer recommended a video about adding short rows to the Anker Tee. She didn’t give me a link, but she said the video is by @mostlyknitting I haven’t watched it yet. Thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! And thank you for clarifying the correct name for the Barber Cords! ❤️😊 I found the short row video. Here it is: ruclips.net/video/ws8V9yODeSo/видео.htmlsi=c68XRwGxwfLI3znN
I loved today’s episode. That sweater with Knitting for Olive is beautiful! I found so much inspiration today. I made the Anker a summer ago and love! The pattern is so sweet. I think the Salty Air Tee is calling my name as I do have the Purl Soho yarn. Love how you explain the Line Tine yarn. I am gonna purchase . Thank you so very much. 🥰 Cindy
Bobbi your knitting is always superb! You inspired me to knit the Ilha and I am using Linen Quill. Thanks for showcasing all the spring and summer sweaters.
Great surprise seeing your episode pop up. You have made some lovely summer shirts. I just bought some BC Garn. Alino-excited to see how it knits up. I am going to make Joji’s new sleeveless top. I just finished the Ankers Summer Tee in Berroco Sesame-so lovely. I watched a tutorial by Mostly Knitting on how to add short rows to the Ankers-I might do that next time. I also knit a littke Ankers junior cardigan for my granddaughter-a lovely knit and Emiko loved the sweater and wore it till it was too small-must make her a new one. Lol!
Hello Jennifer. Thank you for the video suggestion about adding short rows to the Anker Tee! I have a feeling this won’t be the only one I knit. Thank you so much for watching and for the lovely comment! 😊❤️
Your podcasts are always interesting and fun! You are an amazing knitter. I love all your tops and the sleeves on the top you showed up close. Your stitches are beautiful
Joining you from Novba Scotia, Canada, and I somehow stumbled across your podcast. I enjoyed this podcast so much and love your summer tees. Makes me want to knit some. I think the cords that came with your hot pink bag are called barber cords. They are incredible.
I've enjoyed your podcast! You are So talented! I would love to knit a summer tee, but the only thing I have managed to knit are fingerless mitts and dishcloths! So I really enjoy your podcast!
Thank you so much for gathering all those summer T-shirts together! I live on a tropical island so I was searching for some short sleeve T-shirts to knit. Your 87 T-shirt bundle has saved me from looking individually! I was randomly looking at podcasts and saw the title of your podcast which was exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed watching it! Thank you!
Thanks for doing the summer tee video and ravelry tee bundling. It makes my search easier , but deciding which one to knit is harder. I'm looking forward to your sleevelss top suggestions. Your knits are so pretty , thanks for sharing them.
I always look forward to and enjoy your podcasts. Thank you so much. We only have a couple of weeks until the beginning of winter but are still wearing our summer tops here in Perth Western Australia.
Thanks, Bobbi, for sharing many of your beautiful knits. I plan to knit some of these. I have some Sandnes Line yarn coming in the mail to me now. I believe I ordered it in a soft blue color. I'm planning to knit the Ilha pattern. Have a wonderful day. Diane
Soft blue will look amazing! I need to expand my color choices in the Sandnes Garn Line! Keep in touch. I’d love to see your Ilha sweater when it’s completed! Thank you for watching! 🥰
Beautiful sweaters! Thanks for sharing the details ..… love them! Have knit 2 Daily Pullovers in Linen Quill (colours Rhubarb and Kettle Black) in the past year. Will look at the sweater patterns you recommend when choosing my next pattern for Linen Quill SQ I still have in Teal.
Great recommendations for both patterns and yarn choices! Enjoyed your review . Dina at The Knitting Place is great! I've heard them called Barber Cords>, Looking forwatr to your sleeveless recommendations.
I love all the tees that you featured and knit. And, isn't it funny when you put your knits, and other clothing items, together you find a theme in your color selection.
I have already saved or knit 6 of the ones you showed in this episode. I wonder if I got them from your last episode’s WIPs… I love your style. Thanks for podcasting!
All the tees are beautiful. Thank you for sharing. And I will try to knit one or two.❤😊
I just want to add a wholehearted thank you for assembling the fantastic Ravelry bundle that you have. Looking it over was a real treat!! Beautiful!!

If you put 2 strains of “Tynn Line” it will be like 1 “Line”.
Just if you have some leftovers and want to make some stripes. 😊

I believe the Line yarn is listed as Worsted, not DK. Thanks for the inspo on beautiful summer tees.
Barber cords or Try on Cords. Thank you for the inspiration! I’ve added some patterns to my queue!

❤ Lovely Greetings from Hungary
Just found your podcast today. You’re a beautiful knitter and provide some great information and inspiring knits!

Beautiful sweaters!
Beautiful work!

I love all the tees that you featured and knit. And, isn't it funny when you put your knits, and other clothing items, together you find a theme in your color selection.
First time watching you really nice
I have already saved or knit 6 of the ones you showed in this episode. I wonder if I got them from your last episode’s WIPs… I love your style. Thanks for podcasting!
Oh Bobbi- your Azucena is beautiful. I passed on that pattern but after seeing yours, think I may reconsider 😊
