It's actually a great library considering you could get Kontakt 7 for 100 euros as a crossgrade. It's a more bright library so smoothing the top end is recommended. I Played with the exact same patch as you and drove the signal through a Studer A800 by UAD and it sounded very similar to Albion legacy. If they were to add one more dynamic layer and some articulations and come up with a "Pro" version I would probably pay for it... And a final tip for users who make large patches out of it: Don't forget to purge all of your samples!
Yes. I think it's a god deal, especially when you get all the other instruments as well. in the latest update, they have also fixed most of the errors in the samples 😁
In your first example, I like the Kontakt Strings much better. They are more upfront. They sound cleaner and more richer, specially in the bass. The Cinematic Studio String, they sound tinny, hollow and very distant. The rest of the following examples of instruments, Cinematic wins the rest. (To my ears and my opinion for my taste). 😋
I would ague that CSS is more flexible as the library has a more neutrale sound. But yes, depending on the style I'm composing in I would layer CSS with another string library as well. For that very upfront sound, Symphobia is still a strong contender 😃
@@MelodicMinds. ah okay great. Well, how much did you spend already in libarys? 😁 Oh, damn. It seems Danish people have the same accent as Germans when speaking English 😁
Liked and subscribed. You really know your stuff !
Thank you very much. I do my best😀

🎉 nice
The volume swells make it a little difficult to control?
I have an expression pedal (you could just use the mod wheel) to control the volume. With the pedal I can just use both hands to play 😀
CSS all the way mate it is smooth as butter
Yes they are still excellent and very realistic. Also the playability is very good 😁
Do you only produce/compose as a hobby or is it even your profession?
Btw if you are German, kannst du auch in Deutsch antworten 😁
I mostly Compose just for fun. I am however selling some of my music at royalty free libraries - I'm Danish 😀
