Excellent trailer. HBO should consider it as part of the 20 year anniversary celebration.
Meet the cast of the series last year in Normandy when we took my dad across to commerate the anniversary. Bumped into them the following day at a museum and they all wanted photos of my dad, he was decked out with all his medals and looked amazing. They were a great bunch of guys.

I have seen Band Of Brothers about 10 times or more. By far the best series ever....and this is by far the best trailer I have EVER seen. These guys are made of something special and I'm glad that they got to tell their stories to the world, so that we will never forget what they did. Hollywood makes trailers that last 2 minutes and fill every spoiler the film has. This guy makes an almost 5 minute trailer and yet I can watch this and not really discern much of the plot, except all that I need to get interested. That is skill.
Movies are so so bad today they give away what little pulp they have in the trailers. I feel now its all I need to watch and I've seen it.
I have a gent at the nursing home I work, named Peter. He's an ww2 vet, he landed on Utah beach June 1944. Lovely gent see him almost every day, at any opportunity I have I always ask him stories about the time he fought in the ww2. Bless his heart I'm proud to know an ww2 vet and hear stories about the D day at the first hand.
Should be required for every high school student to watch the whole series.

What is best about Band of Brothers..for me..is that it not only tells a true story of a devastating war of ideology twisted, humanity, ideals, courage in the face of adversity, stories of average human beings tested in extreme, real brutality of wars..craziness and humour..respect, honour and love of comrades in arms and our ability to become resiliant and search out our inner strengths..and throughout this true story of humans immersed in blood and horrors, nightmare and lucid waking dreams there is what I think holds a good story together and weaves the whole almost seamlessly..is that this is just a tale that happens to be real and to be true and that it is a tale of normal people who become their strength of heart and stand tall when destiny or fate calls their names on distant war fields..this is what is best about a good story..it's true..the people are real..the settings are real and tangible..and the courage,compassion,empathy and madness and tears are real too, and it is simply a true story of human beings trying to save the world they know and love from an evil blackened mind that wants ruin to be all. True stories for me are always the bestest stories and they don't require special effects and heros in spandex and special magical powers..people..women and men..these are the magic and heart of good stories..and they shine best when the story is true.😉💘😊👍✊..
Heros are born of reality and just real people doing their very best to find their courage when troubles come A' knockin..normal human beings that are most very likely sitting right next to you on the bus or the train or serving you your coffee and checking your groceries through the checkout and repairing your vehicles and teaching our kids..if you share your smiles with all you see, and you spread decency and kindnesses erywhere you go an try to do this daily..then you will find the heros of life and they may even share smiles and friendship right back..and if yer lucky..they may share their stories with you and teach you things as the story unfolds..simply elegant beautiful intriguing scary oft brutal but caring loving courageous wonderful amazing warm hearted fire breathed and blood spilled tear filled incredible human stories that teach us all the life lessons we need and that can then,in turn, be passed on to others. Heros are all around us..they are us.😆💝✊..

I can’t tell you how much I adore this trailer, this is a masterpiece
I believe we were so lucky to have had still some of the men who were part of this human story that were still with us to actually tell the story, sadly now they are with their brothers who fell . They were all truly the greatest generation of all RIP all of you heroes 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
I personally look at it not in sadness, but for them, the joy of being with their brothers again after not seeing each other for over sixty years.
I am crying, I am 14 and I want to met and thank all the ww2 vets out there for their service. Most of my generation don’t know anything about the war, I think that’s a really big shame. When I talk to my friends about ww2 they are always saying that I am a nerd and a psychopath.
Not a nerd or a psychopath, an intelligent person who wants to know where you and we come from and why the world is why it is. Your friends sound a little ignorant and selfish wrapped up in their childish ways, one day when a little older they’ll have the maturity to see what you already see.
New generations don't understand how the war effected the world they just think it was a war and that's it. I've always been interested with ww1 and 2 since I was a kid and I will always be. Lest we forget😢😢

@Rachel Boswell I get a feeling we don't learn any lessons from history at all. Not because we're too stupid but because that's simply who we are. An entire species doomed to repeat it's mistakes again and again and again until a day, we're so technically advanced that there won't be an "again" anymore. And I feel like that day is coming fast.

There are men that are born in a place, at a time, to make history and never be forgotten. For the good of mankind.
This show is unique. It's unlike other war films, which are subsequently fabricated - although people still tend to watch them. This show, shows the deeper side to the war; the comradery, the personal horrors some of them have to face, hypothetically, there is such a melancholoy tone to this show - this trailer has given it a complete new perspective entirely, as I dont usually cry during these types of 'Unofficial' trailers, although this one really took me. I would like to thank you for putting this together and for the soldiers who served in this war.

My dad showed me this series when I was in highschool for a school project and I just fell in love with it, both the show and the veterans' stories that published their memories. It'll be difficult, if not impossible to top this mini series in terms of the atmosphere and respect the actor and production team gave to the project.
My Great Uncle was a captain in the war and was a beach master on Omaha. He went in before the first wave in the attack. He directed the landing on that beach and helped soldiers out of the boats. He was one of the first American soldiers to land in France that day. He also helped land General Patton in the invasion of Sicily at Salerno. He also served in North Africa. On Omaha, he was standing under heavy German fire. Somehow he made it out alive that day. He later served in the Korean War. He served in the Army in WW2, the Coast Guard in Korea, and then served in the Marine Corps, and Navy. He went to VMI and graduated at age 22 and was 35 in 44. After the war he became a sherriff. Rest in Peace Captain F Perry Williams and the rest of the soldiers who sacrificed everything as boys and served in the war.
The entire video is great but starting at 2:04, you start to feel power and emotions of the story. Powerful!

This is such an amazing trailer! I personally think this is even better than the official trailer. You could feel so many emotions in this.
All I can say is this miniseries is still the best by far I’ve watched it so many times they are fantastic men for what they have seen and done they are all hero’s each and everyone of them huge respect and well done for Tom hanks and Steven Spielberg for making a fantastic true story series which is still popular to this day
It is a masterpiece and I'm a girl. I have watched my share of movies on WW2 but this is above and beyond. So glad Hanks and Ambrose had the foresight to see these men were still here and given the chance to tell their story. What an incredible one!
