Hello Elisa. Truly truly awesome. Your Van built surpasses hundreds of other Van builds I’ve seen here on RUclips. It’s even comparable to many of the expensive so called professional manufactured van builds. You possess many talents and obviously show an eagerness to learn that that you are unfamiliar with. Bravo to you on your completed van build. You and your new home on wheels are without a doubt BEAUTIFUL. Safe travels. We eagerly await to vicariously travel with you via your videos. ❤😊

It's so nice to see the van completed. When I was in the Navy, I served my first year in Key West, then I was transferred to Newport, R. I. It was awesome in both places with quite a contrast. I made a long weekend trip to Vermont, and New Hampshire, almost to Maine. This is a beautiful nation, and I know you will enjoy your trip. I can't wait to go with you through your videos. Excellent work on building the van out! See you next week!

Hi Elisa. I just found your channel. I’m retired, still have my sticks and bricks in SoCal but travel North America in my van. I am VERY impressed with the fact you built that van on your own, I wish I had your talent and vision. As you embark on your new journeys, I hope you venture into the wilderness (Forest Service Land, Bureau of Land Management area, etc…). The best part of traveling in a van is the ability to see and camp and areas that larger RV’s cannot. You aren’t dependent upon making reservations and limiting your travel to places that have RV Campgrounds. Good luck, maybe our paths will cross along the road. Mark

Install a small shelf above the rear doors next to the ceiling with the base even with bottom of the curtain support. It can be made so it could be easily removed if you need to get behind it. Use netting across the front to keep items from sliding forward when you stop. It would provide a lot of extra storage space for light items such as clothes and shoes. Great job by the way!

Beautiful van build!!!👌👍 Might I suggest one thing to have in the van when you’re traveling. I just got one and it really helped me. My check engine light came on and when this happens you’re never sure if it’s safe to continue down the road. So I got a “ code reader” which you plug into a spot under your dash, on the steering wheel side. It told me what the problem could be and in this case it was a gas cap not on completely. Easy fix, but at least I knew it was safe to drive on. They are about 17 dollars on Amazon. A great peace of mind while on the road alone. Enjoy your trip, and know , I really enjoyed the build you shared- so talented you are! David from Oregon 🌴😁👍

Greetings. First of all my compliments on your completed build. It came together beautifully. During my time doing special f/x for television commercials I did some unlicensed overload trucking. To transport a mobile shop to locations where we had to build needed gags/rigging on location. One of these trips was from LA to Rapid City, South Dakota. You can (not saying you should) but you can exceed your GVWR by 500 pounds in your van with zero problems whatsoever. You could probably exceed by a thousand in s pinch. Primarily because you’re not dealing with a trailer. Not even wear and tear on tires or brakes. They rate passenger rated vehicles extremely conservatively. Also because you’re not a tractor trailer rig you need not weigh at scales as you endeavor upon your adventures. But the reason I am leaving a comment is because 1300 additional pounds of personal items actually adds up quicker than many might think. A couple large contractors bags of laundry can easily weigh 30 pounds apiece. A well packed grocery bag can also add up to 20-25 pounds if it’s canned food or liquid items. A gallon of water is 8.2 pounds. Hopefully you are rolling with a comprehensive tool set? Cables. Basic hand tools. An emergency jump pack. That whole shebang could climb upwards of 100 pounds. Particularly as I advise carrying a second deep cycle battery. Anyhow you’re a wonderfully confident woman so I don’t doubt you’ve got this. It’s just funny cuz something as innocuous as 5 gallons of emergency water weighs almost 44 pounds. Self defense stuff can get heavy too and I sincerely pray you’ve got that covered. Lastly I subbed a while back because I love listening to your voice. Welp. Here’s to safe, awesome travels 🫶🏼

your rig is fully equipped.😲 .....years ago when I bought a 30 ft travel trailer with slide outs I assumed the manufacturer would have taken care of making sure it was mouse/rodent proof ..........it was not and it took awhile before I found the many hidden nooks and crannies that they got in. nothing worse than watching a mouse running in front of you while you are relaxing and eating dinner in your brand new trailer. 😵‍💫. I found out that peanut butter on the mouse trap has proven to be irresistible and catches them quickly. they even went on the roof and crawled down the grey water vent pipe and in to the living room/kitchen area. so far my repair/fixes are working. ☺

Elisa, I've got to say you did an absolutely awesome job converting your van. I decided about 1 month ago that I will be building my own van due to personal finances that this would just make sense to me. I decided on a Ram Promaster and found your channel, watched every one of your Promaster build videos and I'm proud of you for you lol... if that means anything to you. I've got a 5 year plan to be able to buy and build my own van so I'll be documenting it on my channel as well... but for now, I've decided to get my channel back up and going by vlogging my nature/hiking videos. You've earned a new subscriber and I hope I get to collaborate with you once I get my van. Can't wait to see your next adventure video on the channel. -Martín from Dallas (once famous)

You can get small spice jars, that are magnetic and maybe a hand bean grinder for coffee, service for 2 incase you have company. (cups plates, bowels, forks, Knifes, spoons, serving ware. pots and pans, lids, and i think you can find square baskets that will fit in the overhead to (roll) your clothes up and store in. The van looks great and no doubt you'll discover along the way what you didn't remember, and things you didn't need.

The van has turned out fantastic. you really did step out of your comfort zone to build it, and you have done very well, plus learnt great skills. While buying tools I would recommend an OBD tool with the ability to clear codes. You will learn how to use it properly, of that I have no doubt 👍.

Nice vanbuild! Surprising how all that extra stuff installed really didn’t add that much weight to the vehicle. I built mine to be a mobile shop. In between transmissions right now though. Thanks for sharing and be safe out there.
Oh btw, find a nearby harbor freight for tools especially the specialty ones for automotive. The sets are affordable and usually lifetime warranty. Same for air compressor, if you get extended warranty you can take it back at any harbor freight👋🏼. Home depot etc can be harder to deal with.
