You probably already know, but when hiking always carrie a small survival pack, water food, cellphone, maybe even GPS first aid kit you never know when our in the woods. . Keep up the great videos

Hope you are enjoying your travels. You may want to eventually put something on your ladder to prevent people from climbing it and potentially damaging your solar panels. I have seen some people hang gas cans on theirs. Might as well take advantage of the space.😊

MOST campgrounds that have a faucet indicated as potable water pretty much expect people to be filling up their tanks, IF IT IS NOT MARKED with a sign saying not to. And the trash on the ground by camping slobs is why so many places where you use to be able to pull over at night to sleep a few hours before continuing are now marked as illegal to park overnight. The trash gets very deep and so many times piles of human fesses is left on the ground to cause the areas to be shut down to overnighters.
I agree cooking is not for everyone people oh just this or that its easy , just do you. Your videos are so enjoyable, calm and easy great job thank you.

Glad to see the Shakedown Cruise is under way. Nothing like figuring what works and what doesn't. Maybe add some descriptions of where you stay, the first place was quite nice with the tree growth,( I understand the need to protect your location from the bad elements, if your are posting videos a week or two later it shouldn't be an issue). There's an app called Plant Net that can help determine what trees, flora or fruit you are looking at.Looking forward to the Maine footage. Approaching 50k subs.
You're right! Thank you. The one with the nice trees was at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in NC. They have a nice and affordable campground. Then I also stayed at Elk Neck State park in Maryland. Also pretty nice :)

I feel the same driving a semi, the work to home commute is very convenient. Looking forward to seeing some of Maine. ME. and VT. are the only two states of the lower 48 that I haven't been to yet. Happy Trails ✌️

1. Ref your plate: I have the same set of dishes.
2. Mosquito lifespan: males 3-4 days, females up to 30 days.
3. When someone asks why I do (whatever) I say because I want to.
4. Trash at water point: I taught my kids to leave it better than you found it!.
5. Internet: If you have cell service you can create a mobile hotspot.
6. At 16 minutes: "Am I the only person here?" No. We are with you!
7. Need and don't need: You need me to accompany you in my van!
8. You're doing fantastic! Enjoy time with your son!
One suggestion, we didn't see preparing for your hike but I watch 2 channels of people who earn their living in the outdoors and one of the two has come down with Lymes Disease in the last few months. Make sure when hiking that you "tickproof" yourself so there is no chance.

I think being alive is the best way to do your adventure as opposed to the maple tree that is half dead or the mosquito that is fully dead. I think you cheated and used that magic gel on your shoes when you were doing those single leg squats. You made them look too easy!!
