- JJR has some fun in this episode as he channels his inner Jackson Pollock by making a Neon Splatter Cake with white chocolate ganache, on vegan chocolate cake, with chocolate buttercream, and black onyx cocoa powder buttercream (it tastes like Oreos!). There's also a failed attempt at coloring chocolate ganache, tons of viewer comments & questions answered, and a whole bunch of giveaways! You don't want to miss this one!

White Chocolate Ganache
Yield: enough to fill and ice an 8-inch (20-cm) cake
What you need....
18 ounces (510 g) white chocolate, chips or chopped (real chocolate, not coating chocolate)
3/4 cup (178 ml) heavy cream
How to make this.....
Place the chocolate in a clean, dry, heatproof bowl.
Warm the cream in a saucepan over medium heat until just boiling. Keep an eye on the cream; it will start to bubble a little when it is ready. If the cream is heated too long, it will rise up and spill over the sides of the pan.
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let stand for 2 minutes.
Using a whisk or hand blender, mix the cream and chocolate until smooth.
If the chocolate does not melt completely, place it back on very low heat and stir constantly until melted.
The ganache is ready to be poured at this point. If you want a spreadable ganache, cover and let stand until completely cool (usually overnight).

That would be interesting for us but in all honesty their styles are far too different. JJR would probably annoy Yo with how he does things because he doesn't measure anything, he's not exact in what he does and Yo is a perfectionist.

Collab suggestions: Someone who doesn't take their baking too seriously and knows how to have fun for a video. So Ro from Nerdy Nummies (my fave suggestion) or the Sorted Food crew or iJustine. Though Sorted Food would be far more difficult because they're out of Europe so.... My vote is Ro.
I've seen a few people ask about Yo from How To Cake It but honestly I think you're both far too different in how you approach your baking that you would end up not having fun or just scrapping the collab altogether. Yo is notorious for her measuring and wanting everything perfect and legit getting irritated when something doesn't turn out the way she planned while your videos are more "go with the flow" and winging it when something doesn't turn out right. It's a lovely thought to have you two collab but I don't think it would go well.

I can't believe it took me so long to find you. I love that you give tips like color correction and you show us the workthrough. I've watched a few of yours so far and I love the fact that you are energetic, fun, and very knowledgeable and you aren't running a clinical class. Love the Neon Chocolate splatter Cake. When I make black buttercream I use chocolate frosting and then add black food coloring. Works great.
