Well it was made for Japanese people because the exhibitions are being held in Japan the core audience. So can’t complain about something not being made for the general audience.
For such, I wanted a remake for my most recent favorite story to be adapted properly. I believe it will suffer the same way, like berserk. Simply because of censorship on anime and since both series contain a HUGE AMOUNT of gory stuff and psychological horror or something similar, and who knows maybe studio pierrot did in fact want to full adapted Tokyo Ghoul properly but couldn't because of censorship or because some higher up didn't allow and I fully believe senien series will never ever get a proper anime adaptation because of this bs...😢

I guess a Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul Re: remake could happen sometime in either the 2030s, 2040s, 2050s of 2060s. I think it’s a bit too soon for an anime reboot seeing the last episode of Tokyo ghoul Re came out in the fall of 2018. The 2023 Rurouni Kenshin reboot came out 27 years after the first anime. Same could be said of the 2019 Fruit Basket reboot which came out 18 years after the first anime debuted. Maybe a Tokyo Ghoul Reboot will come, but not right now.
nah really isnt too soon for one if you look at the dates for FullMetal Alchemist's remake release. @@KnightReiteRx True. But look at the Amazing Spider Man movies. The first one came out 5 years after Spider Man 3 just so Sony can hold on to the movie rights to Spider Man.
