B&M and vekoma were in talks about B&M paying royalties to use the floating seat and restraint design and from what I've read talks fell through and B&M just went ahead and used it anyway. I think it will be a while before we see another surf coaster at least until this is hammered out in court and the next one may very well be built by vekoma. Time will tell.
