Yes, so well said. Stop removing areas and attractions, a loss is a loss even if you replace something where an older attraction once was. They have been doing this for years and years now. They need to replace their way of thinking before they lose more of us Guests who are sick of losing the things we loved most about Walt Disney World.

      What a dumb answer.
A lot of attractions become outdated and need to be replaced.
A 3D movie is a no go in a theme park in 2024.
The movie Muppet vision 3D is outdated. It shows.
Now a lot of fans cry because it was Jim Hensons last work.
      Jim Henson died in 1990.
Disneyworld is not a museum and needs to get allong with its time.
Monsters Inc dates from 2001 and now we finally we get the attraction we all have been begging for !

The Little Mermaid show can stay open during construction, then when the main construction is over, it can be rethemed to a Monsters Inc. show. By the way everyone complaining about the Rivers of America being filled in should watch Chris with a K’s video about how if you want a Beyond Big Thunder area, you have to remove the Rivers of America to allow access. I think they should retire Aerosmith and make it Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. They could use the Launch Bay area for Monsters Inc and move all the office to the Star Wars hotel, which could easily accommodate the office space in the hotel rooms. They have open air meeting rooms and a restaurant. 5:36

Bulldoze Launch Bay that no one uses and build it there. Or build out into the parking lot, and build another parking lot somewhere else. They have like 40 square miles of space there. Or they could have left the parks alone, and used all the stuff from D23 to just build a 5th park, so they don't have to close anything.

WAIT Launch Bay will probably be the entrance to Monsters Inc. Land. BUT with both the ToyStory and StarWars expansions we got two entrances to both lands. Therefore, the land will more than likely expand (not into their beloved Animations build but instead) into the parking lot behind Launch Bay which would allow a second entrance to the land via Sunset Blvd. @MickeyViews

It's nice to see someone who isn't just sticking up for Disney all the time, your understanding of business in general is great. This all is why you're best in the business!! I'm super stoked you are doing more Mickey Views videos again getting 100k plus views unreal! If it did go between Muppets and Star Tours at least they maybe could do something else in the animation courtyard or bring it back! I think with the Star Wars land in place, there is no need for the launch bay though, so probably end up landing there because they were just throwing Star Wars wherever they could after the investment years ago.

When it comes to expansion versus replacement, I think one of the reasons they prefer to replace over expand is that expansions require them to add a lot of staff, which cuts into profit. Sure, an expanded land, in particular, can increase revenue from new shops and restaurants, but that only works if attendance increases in the park overall. I think they will only expand if they are confident the park will experience higher attendance. Both AK and DHS attendance is down, so maybe that provides optimism that new lands in those parks will boost attendance.

All you have to do is line up the water tower barrel on top of the current bathrooms to see the area depicted will replace Pizza Rizzo, the gift shop, and momma Melrose to extend out into the parking lot. Why is it so difficult for WDW to EXPAND and build new attractions on ANY of the existing parking lots while simultaneously expanding the parking lot footprint to offset the park attraction expansion? Why do they always want to rip out existing and replace existing attractions???!!! They have all this unused real estate, why don’t they use it to EXPAND the WDW parks???!!! 🙄😜
