I know this is a year old but on the off chance you are remotely interested yes he technically would be. He would be a very rare type of one but he would be one.
I’m fairly certain that the organ did not originate from a human. It’s just a theory, but something about the flying dog creatures and the head that was in the paper bag, yet still speaking, makes me wonder…an excellent story nonetheless! Human or not, it was NOT his to keep! I knew that initial finger prick would cause trouble. But apparently not being an organ collector I think differently. 😂 Well done to the author! Right? Honestly so unprofessional to be handling organs without proper protection like gloves as well! Even if it wasn’t some strange inhuman organ, pricking your finger on it puts you at risk for cross contamination if those are the right words

Would be pretty cool to see such a collection actually. At a local science park they had a full nervous system and brain clamped together behind some glass, absolutely amazing to look at.

As someone who collects bones and wet specimens (albeit non-human) the scariest part of this is that he was handling this organ without gloves or any sort of protective equipment.

The plot feel kind of illogical and really ruin the story for me. Like how is it possible that the hospital did not study more about an abnormal organ from a abnormal creature, why the protagonist didn’t call an ambulance?
