I bought a Panerai 104 back in March 2021. I really didn't think I could ever wear a large watch due to my less than 7-inch wrist, but I absolutely love it. I'd advise everyone to go and try on a Panerai. I tend to wear mine on NATO's and a light brown leather Zulu strap. It's a keeper for sure. I'd love a Sub diver as well.
I’m a big fan. Have three Panerai (Luminor 111, Submersible 44mm & awesome blue dial Radiomir). They are fun. I also have the Rolex GMT “Batman” and Cartier Santos, and Breitling SOH….but find I wear the Panerai watches the most. They are just…iconic…and cool.
Thanks. Both strap options are very comfortable 👍. The rubber provides a bit more room for your wrist to expand. The sailcloth is an after-market band from Zulu diver.
I don't believe that Panerai will COSC certify their movements, so gaining 7 sec/day isn't too bad in my opinion. You might find that it runs a bit better once you wear it (in different positions) for a while vs. having it sit on the desk or watchbox.
A minute track would make it more practical, but it would also look worse, IMO. I'm not going to pretend like I'd ever take the watch in anything other than a pool. And if I'm swimming laps, I use my Garmin anyway... This watch is all about enjoying the aesthetics and history of a mechanical watch. Never about telling the time.
correct sizing is one of those weird concepts. The correct size is just the one that works for YOU. Sometimes its good not to be a sheep and follow the herd. I love it.
Not sure if you still have the Citizen grand touring watch but I am still more impressed but that watch then this one. For sure this Panerai is nice but that citizen it next level in presentation.
Agreed that, for the money, the Citizen grand touring diver is hard to beat. The Panerai wears a bit more comfortable and is great with different straps, but not finished as nicely as the Citizen.
Yes I love Italian designs. It’s bold and beautiful. Not always the practical aspect though. Minute markings? Italians feel that wld spoil the minimalist look. If u want accuracy get an iWatch 😮
Awesome. I love Panerai. 😍 Congrats 🎉

One of those designs where it grows on you I reckon. But one thing I love from first impressions is how legible the dial is!
Super cool, great finishing - congrats!
Allways liked this watch. Looking forward to a long term review.
Congrats on the latest addition to your collection. There's nothing like a Panerai. I have the 459.
What model is 459.......

Great looking watch. Congrats!
Congrats 🍾!
Great, supercool Watch 🤩
congratulations! the black dial submersible is on the list. 👌🏼🔥🤙🏼
Love this watch favourite brand for sure
Looks good. If you have a few watches this is a nice casual watch imo
Very nice video... but I have a question... is it true that the bezel is not solid? And move up and down?
The bezel is solid but does have some slight play to it. Cheers
I have a submersible and the bezel is as solid as my Rolex GMT bezel.
Great watch, has unique look.
Great looking watch enjoy! 🍻
Congrats to your Panerai i have the QuarantaQuattro Bianco 44 mm and verry happy with it.
Good choice. Unique looks
Favourite brand!
Hi, nice watch& review. What is the comfort of the original and the other strap, sail cloth I think? Enjoy your Panerai.

Nice. Thanks for sharing.
Nice video, well done. Just a question. I have the Luna Rossa submersible and it is brand new but gains 7 seconds a day. Is that normal?

Can’t agree more and yes I use my Garmin in the pool too. It tracks laps better than a Submersible could ever. Haha
Cool. Very cool.
42m is a better fit for me but I've heard 44 is the correct sizing for pam ?

I like it, but if I buy a Panerai I want the Iconic 12, 3, 6, 9 blaring at me all lumed up. 😊
New ones are the garbage p900
Just cannot get my head around Panerai….they look awful
