In 1976 I had 3 eight track tapes in my car. Heart (Little Queen), Kansas (Left Overture), And Boston (Boston). Played 'm back to back lvl 10 of course
The drummer was GREAT, as were the other musicians. 💥 The vocalist, however, wasn't even trying. She was giving up by 3:48. 😞 And, U can tell by her body language at the end of the number, when she returned her mic to its stand, that SHE KNEW she blew it. I felt bad for the others on stage. MAYBE Maddison was having a bad day? It happens. 🥲 12/13/23
So the guitarist starts out with his tongue sticking out from the left and the singer she's nervously fixing her hair, the rest of the band futzin' with their stuff.......THEN. That. Harmony. And then. That pause....followed by the kick off and wow. The entire band just doing their thing and supporting that singer. very well done. The drummer was very good. Nice cover.
I gave it a like, just because they even considered doing this one. The opening riff takes a lot of practice to even get it this close. She doesn't have the vocal range of Ann, but she isn't Ann, and she didn't do too bad. A little pitchy a couple of spots. All in all, a pretty pretty good cover by the group.
well ... about 70% here. Everyone had fun that's the most important thing. Some songs you can practically change the entire melody and they still rock. Here I miss the high notes.
The whole team of 21 to 25 musicians, plus a team director and one or two chaperones travels in a regular Greyhound style bus. So they have a limit on two guitars per guitarist, so they might just not have had space for a 12 string.
I've been to 4 concerts, and have never seen Nancy play this on 12 string. I think 3 were on a Martin, and 1 was on an Ovation, but all were 6 strings.
@@firemedic5100 My bad Sir, you are correct. I was thinking of a girl I knew years ago that played it with her brother's band. She always played 12 string.
Some may see this so I will share a story. In 1976 I saw Heart on their first tour. As Nancy started the intro, about 20 seconds in a man jumped up on his seat ( About 100 feet from the stage, I was very close to him , watching the stage. He screamed out " You know what's coming " to a group ( 50-60 people answered him back ) At that Very point I saw Ann and Nancy smile at each other , then the rest of the band ( they had all heard him ) and they slowly transitioned into Magic man. Note to all : Never yell out something like that man did. He may not have been an idiot, however his actions/ behavior was idiotic and he turned red indeed. Be well all out there ( June 7 , 2021 )
@@johnhead6116 Some guy in the audience was telling some people that were around him, he knew that Crazy on You was about to start. So Nancy switched it just to make him look like a fool.
Not many try and cover Heart. Your trying to sing like one of the biggest voices ever. If you can pull it off great if not, disaster. Just attempting it took tons of guts. It's a very big song but you you did a good job with it. 5 stars just for trying.
Fair enough. I tended to record these shows near the end of the tour, so she might have been dealing with a considerable amount of stress having performed every single day for two weeks.
😟 Nice try, but singing this song, is extremely challenging!! when you're dealing with, the world's best female rock vocalists!! It's not good to hear you struggling!! 😧
Love the kids going back in time to the timeless yet very complex music.

It's amazing watching these kids enjoying the same music i did 40 years ago!!
Edited to add: This girl did a spectacular job at an impossible task!
Impossible to duplicate this Heart classic. They do a great job. Just shows how special the Wilson sisters are....

All guts to tackle ths Heart tune live ! Remember that these are kids !! great job
Great effort and kudos for even attempting an Ann Wilson vocal, hell nobody but Ann can pull it off..
Power and raaaaaange.
Awesome job all around..

Mainly that one part where she was supposed to yell...
Nice!
All it needed was the “kick”. Well done looked like the audience had a good time.

Good cover. Nice job Team 1. :-)

The lyrics are okay. The musicians holy shit, they are good.

I really don’t get the story at all. What was coming??

They kicked ass, lead singer hot, dig the shirt:)
Oleks teatud eas siis... Kõike head... ☀️👈
Bass player sort of looks like Summer Glau
The singer is really cute but she just does not have the range for that song.
The girl has a great voice but I think she’s being overworked. Her vocal chords need a rest.

Not that good. I wonder how she is singing today.
Band sounded good, but very weak vocals.😕
instrumentals - a ok - vocals weak - get another singer
Great effort, lead vocals need much practice and refinement..
She ant no Anne Wilson
NOBODY is Anne Wilson. Or ever will be
True but young singer did a great job. Anne Wilson is incomparable.
Great music, bad singing.
