I'm 73 and have listened to this music for many years. I have to say I am very impressed to see today's young people taking on this style or rock music. Also, I think it says a lot about the music being timeless to the point that it encompasses many generations.
@Paul Ayres Couldn’t agree more. People like Page, Jones,Bonham, Beck, and many more will be considered classic composers many hundreds of years from now. Their legacy is not going away, it will only grow
I'm 61 now. When I saw Led Zeppelin in 1975 at Cleveland stadium, I was 15, and didn't realize l was watching the greatest rock band that would ever play. Although even at 15, I knew that they were something special.
Robert Miller I'm 52 and thought great rock music was dead. But one year ago I was Warned. Been down this rabbit hole ever since. Check out The Warning. You will not be disappointed. #thewarning
These groups from School of Rock are incredible! I have noticed that they have female vocalists cover Led Zepplin and Robert Plant vocals. That shows how elite Robert Plants voice was/is! Thanks for covering so many songs from my youth!🎤🔥🎸🙏
Now that was an awesome cover of Led Zeppelin, better than any Zeppelin cover band I've heard. Both guitarists were great but the dude on the left just killed it. I'm sure Page would be smiling ear to ear.
I have watched several of these, the Led Zepplin covers in particular. The guitars & vocals not withstanding, I wnat to say that all the drummers are top notch. I don't know that any of them missed a beat and have clearly done their homework on John Bohham. Kudos to all.
This is amazing. Love to see the present day youth grab hold of this stuff with both barrels firing. I love it that they realize there simply is no match for LZ today. Nothing. It really takes a certain amount of awareness to jump in with this tune.
This is very very good. As a lifelong Zeppelin fan, I was particularly impressed by the guy taking the harp parts on guitar. But really, it should say somewhere that this is based on Led Zeppelin's version of the Blind Willie Johnson song, because that's whose song it really is.
They never made a secret of their influences. Their point was that everyone stole from everyone else, so they were just doing what all the great blues musicians did.
Deu para curtir um gostinho do Led. Mandaram bem! Pra mim... a melhor música de Rock de todos os tempos... depois de "Child" do Ufo! Led é lenda, Ufo é eterno!
No harmonica solo??!! Tisk tisk!! That's what gives this great Zeppelin song such mistique. But overall still a great rentintion of a great great song. 👍👍 Long live Zeppelin!
I’m very impressed by these young people! Lead guitar knocked out of the park! Lead vocalist, so much passion, she is great! I wish there was a way to see more of their performances & to learn if they went on in their music careers, where they are today & what their names are? Anyone, anyone…… Bueller?
I have over 2,000 videos on this channel. Most of the young people in this video are from the Chicago School of Rock, so look through 2014 and older videos from that school.
@@MidWestConcertVideo2 I’ve watched many of them, is there info about who the members are, like in the group that covered LED Zeppelin, “Nobody’s Fault But Mine?”
@@MidWestConcertVideo2is some videos the audio is very clear and in some (just saw a Heart one) it’s kinda muffled. Is there a technical reason for this variance?
Don't know how I missed this before. Has Paden Guido also disappeared in 2022 like Livia, Lauren and Becca did? So much talent, then they are gone... ne...
Jeff Schielka you know these kids? I am told they are all 15-18 years old. Amazing talent. And yes the vocals were superb and what stage presence she has too!
My focus on this song is the Drummer. My favorite Drummer of all time was John Bonham. And this is my favorite Zeppelin song, So I have a hard time critiquing the song. Anyone who covers them I give praise to. The young lady singing does a great job she has a similar tone to Robert Plant
I wondered how they were going to handle the harmonica solo, which for me was the best part of the original song. I was half expecting the singer to whip out a harmonica and start wailing on it or maybe some little guy in a hipster hat would leap onto the stage, whip out out a harmonica and start waling on it. Instead the operator of the green Stratocaster step forward and started wailing on it. Nice!

To quote Ed Mc Mahon,....." You, Sir, Are CORRECT"!
@Paul Ayres Couldn’t agree more. People like Page, Jones,Bonham, Beck, and many more will be considered classic composers many hundreds of years from now. Their legacy is not going away, it will only grow
I'm 72, a wanna be guitarist in garage bands for 50 years....I still don't have the chops these kids have !!
Yo got a couple years on me, but I agree with you 100%
What impresses me is how tight they are playing one of the most difficult songs to play as a band.
Respect, respect, respect respect !
Gotta save my soul tonight! Nobody's fault but Mine!

Drums: Pat Boland - did an excellent job and that song takes serious study.
Yes. The concentration was visible. Good job.

So happy to see such young people who get the ZEP. Love the lead singer.
61 yr old Zep fan here! haha....awesome!
Zep. Dig it!!
One of the best SOR songs I've seen. Tight as a nun's chuff and very grown-up.
My favorite Led Zeppelin song and you guys crushed it!! Overall, great, but Paden Guido - girl, you made the song your own and brought it home!!

Gives the youth a fine starting point, all i had 35 years ago was punk and metal
This was epic from start to finish. Wow, great all around. No over-performing, just good execution.
My exact thoughts.
🙏 praise the Lord glory to God you're awesome
Not my fault for liking this one. You can never go wrong with Zeppelin. Turn it up and ENJOY!
NEVER!!
I'm 62. Very impressed!
Superb cover! Whole band is super tight
Love me some Zeppelin. This was a solid performance.
Kinda speechless. Wow. These guys are tight.
WOW JUST WOW You guys nailed that one . This and Night flight are a couple of my all time Zeppelin favorites.
Wow, this was way , way better than I was expecting . Great job !
One of my favorite Zeppelin tunes. Great job!
Am I the only one that thinks the drummer is a beast
No, he did a great job.
So many 'nuance' notes covered.
What an amazingly talented group of young people. A perfect performance and interpretation!
Da buon appassionato dei Led Zeppelin dico solo bravi ragazzi, ottimo lavoro
Both guitarists nailed their parts.
Robert's harmonica also.

Look through my channel - Led Zeppelin is one of the foundational artists of the School of Rock, and I have some really amazing covers.
Very, Very good cover. Thanks for sharing.

When the Levi breaks is another cover by Zeppelin. A song from the 40,s.
They never made a secret of their influences. Their point was that everyone stole from everyone else, so they were just doing what all the great blues musicians did.
Everytime I hear that Zep redid a song it is a thousand times better than the “original”..
The band is great ,the singer is very great for Roberts voice, fantastico!.
Killer Cover! The singer's phrasing sounded almost like Plant's in a couple of bootlegs I've heard of this "unsung" rocker--terrific job!
5 Stars!!! Get these kids a contract! 😲
Wow! This is great
Absolutely Excellent. Most impressive.
That would be a tough act to follow. Wow. Great job.
Fantastic job, think the members would love this.shows how good zeppelin actually were
God those kids are good ❤
Takes me back to when I was in that Dexey's Midnight Runners cover band. You haven't lived until you've heard my washboard solo on C'mon , Eileen. 🤪
Life long fan of all things zep and that was incredible!
Excellent
Bravo Paden, and Bravo all the others, you are great!

LED ZEPPELIN. love you keep it timeless. You are fire.

Hot Damn! Not much if anything wrong with this performance SOR. Thank You Kids!
This is fantastic stuff. Wonder where these kids are now
Blue guitar is ripping! Nice vocals, too.
I'd say "It's a YES!".
I’m very impressed by these young people!

Drummer is just kicking ass .
This is fucking brilliant!
All good wow, singer did a fantastic job. That guitar solo was so crisp, the tone was perfect.
Don't know how I missed this before. Has Paden Guido also disappeared in 2022 like Livia, Lauren and Becca did? So much talent, then they are gone...

Ce n'est pas Robert Plant, mais sincèrement, cette jeune fille le fait très bien 🎤🎵🎶👍
Paden definitely stole this one. Band was great but Paden's vocals were stellar! Smokin!
Jeff Schielka you know these kids? I am told they are all 15-18 years old. Amazing talent. And yes the vocals were superb and what stage presence she has too!
@@navinadv This was 6 years ago. These 16 year old kids are in their early 20s. Hope they are successful!
You see in our day, kids, rock songs had two guitar solos.
