THANK YOU for including the version with DS soundfont. I actually had to go and record a footage myself while trying to save it but I couldn't properly connect 2 recordings in a fluid way (one way to deal with covering sound effects).
I didn't get into the series until FFVII, but I played a lot of Mario RPG at my late best friend's place when I was a kid. This track just fossilized itself in my head immediately when I did the Culex fight!

My favorite JRPG and Favorite boss theme every version is awesome I honestly find wonderswan charming, Endwalker is damn near perfect, but Snes is the GOAT!
Ye I get you. Kind of putting the Pixel Remaster version in the lower middle of my best to worst covers of the Boss Battle theme. A bit too over the top for me. The DS version lowkey is good, I agree.
The Culex 2D theme in the 2023 remake is not a new theme. It's the exact same theme used in the SNES version, hence why I did not repeat it again and only had the 3D cover labeled under the Super Mario Remake timestamp.

@@BonelessFolka Yes, 2D uses the original arrangement, the hardware pronunciation is different, But both are Yuko's remixes from FF4 Boss theme.
