I'm catholic girl and I love their songs,but it's sad that they are protestants.Protestantism was created in XVI century by Martin Luther and in these times we have thousands protestant sects around the world.But God bless you guys!;)
Why is it "sad" that they are protestants? Don't judge someone's journey. At least their music and message is good.
I think they were non denominational christians which existed BEFORE the Roman Catholic church branched off of the Greek Orthodox church. In the book of Acts around 33 a.d. way before the Roman Catholic church underminded the gospel of grace with the unbiblical teaching of pergatory and praying to saints other than the only mediator Christ.The only catholic band I know of that sings about Chist is The innocence mission.

They believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day, according to the Scriptures. That's all that is needed for salvation. It doesn't matter if you're Protestant or Catholic or whatever. If you believe right...thats all that matter.
who are you to judge a persons journey with God???? Thats reserved for the ungodly ones and the pharisees. ..in the 80's..and sadly today still.. a lot of so called followers of god, and non believers always attacked followers of God, and threw many judgemental questions at them..
