Don't let the times get to you. It's already been written. In the end We win!. Things are gonna get much worse so just stay as positive as possible.

@@ronstewart6362 Agreed. I think on a moral level it's all going to tank until the end. "We" can do nothing, but God has it all in His hands and He already won with His plan through Jesus. To hell with the devil 🤘

Studying the Bible, the “god” of America is NOT the God of Israel so what’s going on shouldn’t be any surprise! The 80’s was the decade of decadence…look at what we had as role models…DLR, Crue, Ozzy, KISS, etc. and let’s not forget the ladies!

These guys were EXACTLY where and what they needed to be in the 80's among bands like Poison, SLayer, Wasp, Kiss, Def Leopard, Warrant, Twisted Sister, Cinderella, etc. etc. They got a lot of flack in the mid 90's but I would contend that it was more because kids were moving away from glam metal/hair bands and into grunge - NOT because they were a Christian metal band. It's crazy, because, like wine, they have actually aged well. Now I think we're all looking back and appreciating what a cultural icon they were and that they are still putting out quality metal.

Stryper could have a shit ton of money if they wrote secular lyrics and went that way. I cant believe the shit they were given. I seen them in 87. Not a christian but still a fan.

@@gatormcklusky5850you’re out of it. Stryper made it. Screw tic tac crap. That’s fake. Stryper worked hard for there success and sold millions of albums and still out there playing live and making new music. Not every artist is going to be as known as Elvis, The stones or the Beatles. Been a Stryper fan since the get go. Disagree with Robert’s statement that they were doing something that hasn’t been don’t before as Rez band was rocking already but that can’t take away from the positive impact these guys have made worldwide that maybe Rez hasn’t reached.

I would say that Rez Band definitely rocked harder than Stryper. Where Stryper was first was in the presentation. The first spandex wearing, Christian hair metal band, which I don't even really consider to be metal at all. More like power pop.

I've not seen this in years, though it was trimmed down. The Sanctuary might have been well meaning, but from an adult prospective what do they do about those struggling with their sexuality, mental health etc. Substance abuse and alcohol might have been the oldest evils in the world, but prayer can't get rid of the gay (I speak as a metal bear who came out 26 years ago).
