Hello fam, I found the kontomire/ cocoyam leaves in an Asian supermarket. It was labelled "Tarro leaves" but it looks more like cocoyam leaves and tasted like it. I think it is one of the items they stock as and when they receive it because I went back tgis weekend and couldn't find it.

BEAUTIFULLY MADE MY DEAR!!!😉😘
kwankyewaa,i think that when u immerse your plantain in water before peeling, it prevents your hand from getting stained with the juice from the plantain peel.
Délicieux

I was taught in the same way of soaking the plantains in water
I asked grandma why should I put water on it before peeling it
She told me some plantains contains sand so it helps to wash away the sand on the plantain💯💯
Nice Ghana dish
Beautifully done! It looks so so good🤤 I don't mind having the white stuff on the plantains but my mum can't stand them so I always wash them off for her😊 I'll be sure to try this again soon!

Please which grocery store in America did you buy the Taro leaves from?
In an Asian supermarket. I think it is one of the items they stock as and when they receive it. Please check yours.
Authentic!papabi!
Akumaa Medaase! ❤🤗
I'm in Accra but I can't get this food to eat 😁
Was very disappointed when the food processor came on
No one is asking you to use a food processor..
My mom told me that, we wash the plantains before peeling because,we don't normally wash it again after peeling like we do to cassava and yam and the rest. So you prewash to remove the dirt.
What is the eggs doing maybe for decoration
For decoration how, she is eating it a u say for decoration...we know why we add eggs to our foods so if you Nigerians can't wrap your brains around it , pls stop asking this silly question over and over, some of us are tired of answering you
Lovely hahaha
😀😀❤❤❤
You put the plantain in water before peeling because there's a gel in side that discolour your hands and sticks to your hands that's why you have to put it in water
Aww Auntie Kwakyewaa but why 😭😭? Very tastylicious I'm bringing my plat🍽🍽 right now. Please your door number?well done
We put the plantains in water to prevent that sticky water from the plantains not be on our hands and you know sometimes it hard to wash it off and it becomes black too, that's what I have been told
Oh I see! I guess it serves both purposes then. Thanks for sharing 💕
😭😭😭😭 I am hungry.
Ingo, did a pronounce it right?
😊🙏🙏🙏😋😋😍🤗😇👍
🙏🏾🙏🏾❤
Momoni, did I pronounce it right?
Koobi, did I pronounce it right?

I think if we are going traditional we should go fully traditional.... the food processor was not right in this video..... thats wat I think 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Woooa, this looks delicious and yummy 😋
