Every tight call in this series went against the Blue Jays, but they still pulled off the Series win. Looked like the fix was in against a Canadian Team winning the World Series, not to mention the disgrace of the Canadian Flag being flown upside down accidentally on purpose. An awesome effort from the Jays to overcome a plethora of horrible calls!
A match up between the two teams that were eliminated by the Twins last year. definitely an underrated world series. It was vastly overshadowed by 1991 and 1993 as those both ended more dramatically.
I was at Games 3, 4 & 5 here in Toronto, plus at SkyDome for game 6, this city went bonkers for this series. (We have the Leafs, can ya blame us? Lol) Loved watching Carter, Alomar, White, Olerud, Winfield, Borders & Maldonado all shine, but My favourite Blue Jay here in Toronto for years was Kelly Gruber. He played all the '92 season hurt, got dogged in the press, by the fans, & he came out playing harder in this series then at any other time during his time with the Blue Jays. Made that error yeah, but hit a clutch home run, his defense saved a few runs, he ran hard like the devil was chasing him, and YES, he got Sanders on the foot. He doesn't get any credit but he played as hard as anyone in this series. Also, did anyone else notice the umps seemed to miss or blow calls for both teams throughout this series? Glavine probably should've had had 20+ K's in his combined starts but the umpire seemed to forget what a consistent strike zone was. Same thing happened to Cone, Guzman & Smoltz. Overall, though, just an incredible series.
Jays have not been able to produce again collectively as such a strong team. 92/93 they had everything going for them. Pitching…strong hitters…great fielding. Later, they had the likes of Bautista and Donaldson but no pitching.
Toronto Blue Jays was the first non American team to win the world series that year. Toronto Blue Jays could've won three straight world series if it wasn't for the strike in 1994.
The most overlooked great World Series.
1991 was the best WS of all-time, but this series was a worthy sequel
Amazing to be able to live these memories!
so many blown calls on this series.

Gruber tagged him.
9:08 i dont care what anyone says this is still a triple play , 32 years later.
1. Everyone looked so small back then.
2. Kelly Gruber was always so dirty.
3. Joe was a monster.
4. The trenches were clutch.

Toronto was stacked but the braves bullpen really blew it for them in this series. Game 2 was a back breaker
I am having flashbacks. my memory is weak, unfortunately.
Atlanta Braves won 15 straight divisions, played in 5 world series, with only one victory against the indians.
They sound a lot like the Dodgers
Not good.
Kings of the choke!
24:33 that kid learned a lot about life THAT day! (25:55)

They were 55-60 in 1994 before the strike. They weren't winning the title that year lol.
@@DontDrinkthatstuffyeah Expos woulda had a much better chance in 94
That tomahawk chop didn't age well.
Still going strong!!!

Terrible managing by the Braves.
