- A VHS recorded program from 1986 that summarizes the first 10 years of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball club. Fun recounting of the history of the first years of the team, things seemed a lot simpler back then. How did all this time fly by so fast?
I grew up watching these guys in the early to mid 80s. Right when I started watching baseball.
I'm An American . And I'm a toronto Blue Jays fan .
Same!
Just started supporting the Jays so this feels like essential learning 🇬🇧
Cool! I still my original VHS of this, but no VHS player. Now I can enjoy it again.
I was at the game shown here vs the Yankees in 85 when they lost the first chance to clinch the AL East…we were so close, it seemed a certainty that they were going to win…and then it all came crashing down. Devastating. But then they won it the next day and all was just fine. Lots of great memories in this video.
i went to the Friday night game loss where Moseby dropped the ball in the rain. Then, we went to the Saturday game and rushed the field. It was the last MLB field rush. in 1986 MLB put the clamps down and no more field rushes were permitted. The 1985 World Series win had no field rush.
I was looking for this documentary for years ,thanks very much 👏👏🇩🇴🇩🇴⚾⚾👊👊 .
Thank you soooo much for posting this. I used to have this video and got lost when I moved. I love this video, especially the part when show Bobby Cox taking over.
RIP Toronto Blue Jays Announcer Tom Cheek He Died In October 2005.
First time watching this I liked this
i learned so much thank you
In a Yankee fan and I love this:
Remember skipping off high school in 1977 and going to the inaugural Jays Opening Day (snowing!) at the CNE! WE WON! 15-years later TWO back-to-back WS! Since then .... NOTHING!! 🙄
Love this vid thank you ❤
My uncle Played for them Ken Whitfield
For you real Toronto baseball fans who remember the original Toronto Maple Leafs Triple A International League affiliate of the Bosox. Last game in 1967 after 42-years.
Im always a Jay fan, from the first day because Rico Carty...
the red head loved ronnie on the broadcast...or ken levine the honda civc has more room then the kingdome...lol goodtimes!!!!
One thing that bothers me is that they act like Toronto fans were unfamiliar with baseball, we had the minor league Maple Leafs at the old Maple Leaf Stadium for many decades, any baseball fan older than 60 will remember Handlebar Hank.
I didn't think I needed Pat Gillick acting in my life this morning, but here we are. :)
Any Blue Jays games?
Thanks very much .i was looki g foto this .👏👏👊👊🇩🇴🇩🇴⚾⚾
