Some research on my end of things reveals this signoff is from the weekend of May 4-6, 1990, based upon the Arsenio promo at the start of the vid. I'm guessing they changed up the SSB anthem a few years earlier. That said, nice to see another KCPQ signoff vid, from, as you stated, their early days as a Fox station.

As this completed Q 13's broadcast day, 1 second of censored audio in an on air promo for "The Arsenio Hall Show" on Q 13 was not heard, as KCPQ Tacoma-Seattle was then owned and operated by Kelly Broadcasting Company, which also owed and operated their sister station KCRA Sacramento-Stockton, California. KCPQ is now known as Fox 13 and is owned by Fox Television Stations, Inc. And "The Bluebird of Happiness" by Jan Peerce, shows Q 13's produced montage of scenery in the state of Washington set to this tune, and this tune was used in KCRA's sign-off with visuals to the California capital region.

Overall, this is very good, and a good historically accurate - interesting to see how it was in those times - including the forcing of one man to sign the death warrant, and those traitors playing around with the ink in an uncouth manner. The King was right in that he had the Divine Right, for this is expressed throughout the Bible, especially Romans Chapter Thirteen, but like most Monarchs, he did conveniently forget his side of the bargain - the duty he had to his subjects, as much as they had to him. He was in fact probably less tyrannical (if indeed he was) than old Henry the Eighth, who did not end up on the block, but is said to have put 78,000 people there in his time. Charles the First was executed on Tuesday the Thirtieth of January, 1649 (Old Style Julian Calendar), which would have been Tuesday the Ninth of February in the Gregorian Calendar used in France. For all his faults, the Roundheads had no legal nor Biblical right to rebel against the King, for this was in the very Bible that they claimed to follow. This is man doing his own thing and not trusting GOD, like all of the Revolutions that have been before and since.

The best episode yet, really enjoyed that one. Plenty of action as well as character development. Feels very authentic so unlike most other dramas trying to convey the spirit of those times.

The day the Five Members, John Hampden (1594-1643), Arthur Haselrig (1601-1661), Denzil Holles (1599-1680), John Pym (1584 -1643) and William Strode (1598-1645) were apprised of the plot that had been formulated by His Majesty King Charles to arrest them was Monday the Third of January, 1642 (Old Style Julian Calendar Date). In Catholic Europe, the same date was observed as Monday the 13th of January, 1642. The next day, Charles, the second son of King James of England and his wife Anne of Denmark, did do as was described here, and the Civil War (one of at least six major ones in English history - not to mention all the others) began later that year. Great show and episode, although I think it was a bit too easy at the end, sentries looking the other way, etc. I feel a bit sorry for 'Susan' with no specific place to go, no family left, who should she attach herself to, she has to be opportunistic to survive.

I was at the game shown here vs the Yankees in 85 when they lost the first chance to clinch the AL East…we were so close, it seemed a certainty that they were going to win…and then it all came crashing down. Devastating. But then they won it the next day and all was just fine. Lots of great memories in this video.

She’s will always have a scar from being cheated on. You can forgive but you will never forget. It’s easy to let the resentment take over after having your life turned upside down & being stabbed in the back by the one person you trusted the most in the world. If you want to have a joyful and peaceful life after infidelity you must actively reject the darkness in Jesus name. Some things are so stubborn only God can fix it. Resentment is one of those things. Also included is a broken heart. The Bible says God specializes in healing broken hearts - but you must ASK Him to heal it. It hurts my heart to tell you it is NOT a one time event - in my opinion. Every time that pain comes up you must REPEATEDLY ask Him to heal it and eventually it WILL go away. Heartbreak and resentment are the most tenacious things to go. I know because I myself have lived it. One thing I know for sure: Healing from infidelity is one of the hardest things you will ever do. And ignoring it won’t fix anything. Denial just goes in the basement to lift weights and comes back out stronger. You CAN heal but there are some things you can do and some things only God can do. Because if you allow resentment to grow deep roots in your heart and / or you turn to self destructive behaviors - the enemy wins. Your marriage could be technically in tact while you are still broken & suffering. You don’t want to live the rest of your life like that, do you? You do realize if you don’t make EVERY effort to truly heal this - Your children WILL be affected. Because the affair has changed you in the worst way. This stuff CAN be healed - but it takes work & dogged determination. Don’t give up on yourself!! God CAN change this whole entire situation - but you must PERSIST in prayer. You are never alone in this - He will walk with you EVERY step of the way. But you must open the door because He will never barge in. You can stay plugged in to a relationship with Him - Or you can do it the even harder way and try to make it all get fixed through your own efforts. It’s 100% up to you. He sees EVERYTHING they have done to you and they WON’T get away with it. ‘Vengeance is MINE sayeth the Lord.’ - Bible Take good care. 💕💕💕

This was a superb series in every respect.

It was this series that kickstarted my unhealthy obsession with the English Civil War and the 17th century. And the hats.

Great episode and start to the series, establishing the family characters and the times, especially for those not familiar with the English Civil War. Even the non-English Civil War themes here are explored between Aristocracy/Landed Gentry and self made commerce/trade 'Gentleman' who weren't born into nobility. Also despite being the legacy analogue TV Multi-Camera video production which would have been contemporary for the time, the 'older look' really suits historical period dramas well; helping to 'put you into the scene' aka Mise-en-scene (pronounced 'Mee-zon-san', which is French).
