The best episode yet, really enjoyed that one. Plenty of action as well as character development. Feels very authentic so unlike most other dramas trying to convey the spirit of those times.
The very first time I watched this series I fell in love with it. Just like Elizabeth R and The Shadow of the Tower, it's one of my all-time most beloved British historical dramas.

Oh. How exciting!
Terrific drama. If only they had shot it on film the quality would be 100 times better.
Never in history, let alone fiction has the, 'girl dressed as boy, or vice versa,' scheme ever fooled anybody.
"I shall be safe from molestation, dressed as a boy!"
Richard the Lionheart: "Hmmmm..."
Charles II would beg to differ.
Joan of Arc would also big to differ.
Chevalier d'eon, Nadezhda Andreyevna Durova, and Eleonore Prochaska
Here's hoping Lucinda takes up cross-dressing for the rest of the series.
I’m into this show but this episode was some annoying nonsense.
