Mom of a 2 year old here (with another on the way!) and I can attest that learning to wake up at 5am is invaluable, especially when you become a parent! It definitely doesn't happen as consistently as it did before kids, but man that hour or so in the morning before my family gets up is GOLD. I work out, eat breakfast, watch RUclips, and is the only time of my day that I can take my time. Start NOW everyone cause it's a skill that'll last a lifetime!

you can train your body to need less sleep over all (aka sleep faster XD) but it takes time, i had a headstart cos of my semi-insomnia (meaning i could go a week without being able to sleep and sometimes I'd forget how, not sleep for a few more days then pass out when my head hits the pillow finally XD) so i could already go longer without recommended weekly sleep hours, but i can only just wake up after a little less than 6 hours. again, it'll take time, I'm getting better with sleeping at least 5 times a week at night now luckily. if you know your sleep chronotype you can figure out what would be best for you, and adapt your current schedule to fit around that. and instead of planning your time to create said schedule, plan your energy, do energy intensive tasks when your energy peaks/is higher than other times, and the tasks that are easy on you can be pencilled into the areas of the day where your energy is more depleted than other times (e.g. doing a 10/15 min declutter in your room before starting your bedtime routine. just avoid making a mess again tho, cos otherwise your brain will be like "bish you can go suck it if chu think I'm getting up now, dat is messy af, hell no, go back to sleep" XD)

I find that packing your schedule trick really true and so helpful! I find that I sleep so much better if i'm actually tired- not because I need to sleep because I need to sleep. I usually wake up at around 6:30 am everyday naturally (without alarms because my parents take my phone away at night so I don't have it near my bed), and this is the primary reason why I'm able to do that! once though I overworked myself and got super fatigued earlier so I slept for 11 hours (9:30-8:30) instead of the usual 7... self care is. important.

I love your reasons! When I do things earlier there is more time in my day. I'm not a 6 am wakeup person but 7:30 works for me to feel that I have enough day to get things done and be ready for my clients.
I just wanna wake up at 6 am to have a nice slow morning, because that's something I really love and I've learned after a long slow morning I feel more ready to do things. And I want to lose my fear or waking up early, because thats kinda wasting time.

i wake up early at 6;00 am tuesday wednesday thursday because oof work and it really helps me wake up take my medication take care of my pets and eat breakfest and then around 7;30 am i will head iut the door my sister has to take me because we work toughter and i cant drive because of my learning disablty and eyesight i can barley do my job but coffee has always helped me focs along with taking wellbutrio which helps me foucus i love your video keep up the great work and keep moving forward

I used to wake up at 6:00 am almost every day. But one day in October I just slept till like almost 10:00 am. And now I wake up at like 8:00 am now and I want to start wake up at 5:30 or 6:00 again. It's so true , and I wanna add some extra note for wake early .... 1.Choose food or something to do that you like it , for example eating new breakfast or planing your week or ... 2. Sleep enough 3. Don't eat heavy dinner and coffein like tea or coffee at least 2hrs before sleep 4.after waking up don't rush work .. spend some time for start you day better by eating full breakfast and reading some pages and talk to your family Goodluck budy !
my sleep schedule always gets messed up because of all the work i have to finish in school. when the deadline is tomorrow and i still haven't finished my work, i tend to stay up all night long and go to my classes without any sleep. i often get tired on my classes and at the end my brain didn't register anything that my teacher just told. and everytime my teacher calls me for recitation, i couldn't answer because i didn't understand anything. i always feel lazy and barely even want to stand up from my chair. so yeah i want to get my life together. btw i love your personality and your positivity. i also like how you're so productive :> anyways keep safe everyone!

Literally have been forcing myself to sleep on my back since I’ve heard that was good for you only to find out it’s like the worst position. I missed my side sleeping so I’m happy to go back to that. My posture has been better though

I'm actually teaching online to Korean students through this Korean company and my first class of the day is at 6AM! (then after daylight savings, since Korea doesn't turn their clocks back, I'll have class at 5 AM). Definitely helps to also go to bed earlier so I have had a good night's sleep

Hello i`ve found your channel and its love at first sight. I am a teenager and i am having a hard time at school because I feel that I live by going to school and I do not like that. I love studying but when I spend 6 hours there then do my homework for 3 hours and then i have my extracuriculars for 1 and a half or to 2 in a half hours. I just basicaly don`t have time for myself. There is also so much presure at school and where I live when you wake up it is as dark as if it is night (at about 8 or 9 in winter it can still be dark) and when you come back home it is also dark (like its always night). I am hoping that maybe getting up early would help me find time for myself and motivate me

I don't use electronics before 10am, but the rest is solid. Coffee and silence first thing in the morning are seriously magical!
