      I used to do that but if you have like a desk next to your bed I suggest almost throwing it as far away under it as you have to climb under a desk to wake up 😂 it works!!

    - Turn on nice lights, light a candle, put on relaxing music, have tea.
    6. Chug a glass of cold water.
    - Help your body perform better, let’s your brain perform at its peak.
    7. Accomplish something within the first hour.
    - Set a timer. Challenge yourself to get it done before an hour is up. Check it off the list.
    8. Set a productive intention.
    - Avoid social media and TV. Try to listen to podcasts or read.
    9. It gets easier.
    -Practice makes perfect.

      Ikr, when our fire alarm ran out of battery its inside my room, Everyone else in the house woke up. My dad took it down, turned the main light on, fixed it and put it back up by standing on my bed. I didn't notice anything

      @Really Though you should look forward to the day, if kids make you feel this way I would try to seek out help. You don't want to possibly hurt your self or children. Usually when your days feel like chores it's cause you're depressed

      I think she's tackled exactly the issues that I have as a non-morning person, and that is because she also struggles with mornings when it's not bright and sunny outside. I found her tips quite sensible and useful.

    Waking up when it's so early it's still dark and there's no sound as the whole world is asleep, is the BEST - it gives you the mental edge knowing that compared to others you have bossed many things even before most people get up.
    I meditate for an hour, and then enjoy my vision board and look at the desires I have as mentioned in "It Works", The Little Red Book. Then I watch a David Goggins video, read, and do math for 3 hours.

    I have a bad habit of watching RUclips first thing in the morning which DOES NOT get me up.
    So I’m switching to do a language learning lesson instead. It really works because it gives me an accomplishment I can feel good about and cuts right through that self sabotage. So I’m a lot more likely to get up afterwards!

      I recommend (if you want something else to try) go to the bathroom and splash cold water on your face (wakes you up), get dressed, and read. You can do your basic chores, (I love cross stitching and reading in the morning) and then you feel accomplished and motivated.

    Before I never woke up by the alarm, they always had to wake me up and that was a struggle. I always had a full page of alarms.
    *Now* I changed, and I actually started waking up!!
    I wake up, close the alarm, *sleep again* .

    Dream journaling has changed my life. I used to be the worst snoozer, I would hit the snooze numerous times. Nowadays I wake up to my alarm clock, immediately grab my phone and write down my dream (which you always will remember if you keep writing them down). That’s a gentle wake up and I’m ready for the day!

      I watched a video where the girl said to set out multiple alarms trailing to the bathroom or the kitchen. Each alarm going off a minute or two after the one before. That way, even if you do hop back into bed, you have to walk further each time until you're already where you need to be. Though if you're really good at sleeping through blasting alarms, like me, this won't work lol

    -hey, if u dont have time to watch the vid, here r the tips-
    :D
    -do a 10 minute clean up (make ur bed, clean ur desk, do the dishes etc.)
    -plan your day (u will have ur head more clean and u dont need to think about things u need to do)
    -set alarm far away from u (put in on the floor, on ur desk, just so u need to stand up)
    -no bad thoughts (stop saying that its dark outside, but say wow such a beautiful morning i had the best sleep)
    -make an atmosphere (turn on the lights, light up candles, play ur fav playlist or podcast)
    -drink a glass of water (u havent drink water for hours while u sleep, u need to hydrate and get fresh)
    -accomplish something (try to work in the morning, or just make a to-do list, or vacuum the floor etc)
    -have an productive intention (dont go on social media, instead of that try to get ready, shower, listen to podcast)
    ! It will get better i promise !

      @@Maddy-cu5uk probably because you dont reach REM sleep for a very long point. By having only a little but of sleep you never fall into deep sleep which is what you really need from a night's sleep.

    I totally agree with you with the waking up when its nice and sunny vs when its dark. That was so me! In the summer I'm like yesssss waking up early like a boss then the winter hit and I'm like why am I awake its the middle of the night, lol. I am trying to re-train my body to wake up at 6am again and actually FEELING good when I wake up to. It is hard in the winter, but I feel so much more productive when I do.

    1. 10-15 minute cleanup the night before so that everything is clean and organized, making it easier to wake up to a nice room
    2. set up the day the night before. write down tasks or your thoughts, set goals you want to complete for the next day. plan out your day.
    3. set your alarm far away. you physically have to get up to turn it off, and because you’re already up, it’s easier for you to stay up.
    4. no mental sabotage ! don’t make excuses and keep positive thoughts like “this is so great that i woke up early” “this is very productive” “i did it so i can do it again” “i get to wake up early, it’s nice”
    5. set your atmosphere. turn on some lights or light a candle, put on some nice music.
    6. drink a glass of water. it is refreshing, hydrates you after a long night without drinking water, and can wake you up easier.
    7. accomplish something within the first hour of waking up. it will guarantee a more productive morning and you will have an easier time continuing to work. it can be as simple as making your bed !
    8. have a productive intention. do things to ensure productivity or else it’ll be easier to be lazy.
    9. remember that the more you do it, the easier it becomes.

    Omg 5 in the morning!! I usually wake up at 8 and I thought that was early lol but I l’m a morning person too! I do the clean up the night before as well and think it’s so helpful and so nice to wake up to a clean space! I agree with all of these tips and stress a lot of them in my videos too! 💕

      I wake up at 5am as well, so I can tell you that once you wake up at 5 am every day it does not feel early at all. For me the time from 5am till 7am feels like a half an hour.

    I decided to force myself to get up at 4 AM for a month. Let me tell you, it completely changed my life. After getting up early every day for a month, I'm less stressed, more productive and generally happier.
    I know that, on the first few days, deciding to wake up early was sometimes one of the most terrible things to many people. It was even getting worse when you had had a habit of getting up late for decades, but it's time for you to change - you have to do all that makes you feel uncomfortable. You have to get out of your comfort zone so as to start the first steps to becoming a better version of yourself. Now, tell me your story ;)

    That tip about tidying and de-cluttering is HUGE. Staggering into the kitchen in the morning for a cuppa and finding the beanch clean and clear makes me happy. Finding my desk tidy is a welcome surprise. Discovering when I open my puter that I have left my poor half asleep brain instructions as to what to do next...awesome.

    thank you for this video! I have fought with depression for years and it has always made sleep a problem for me. I can sleep for twelve hours and still feel so exhausted, at this point my mind tricks me into feeling tired pretty much all the time. this is not good for me when it comes to college, because even though my classes don’t start until 10 or 11, waking up by then sucks for me and I’m trying to get better at it. you reminded me that it’s just like conquering anything when you have depression-it’s all about changing your mindset! thanks :)

    I have been in an ADHD induced depression, living with anxiety for many years. Today is my 27:th birthday.
    Your tips genuinly made me feel full of hope. That even I can wake up and achieve the goals I now will write down for myself every night.
    I will practice on positive thinking and not give up until it becomes routine. As soon as I finished this video, I started cleaning my room, then writing a to-do list with realistic goals tailored to my mental illness. ❤️

And I have been tapping into my husband energy of “ not wanting to wake up” and ugh is been dreading because I know that’s not who I am.       Anna Nováková I found out that I need to sleep 7 or 8 hours every night. If I sleep less I get tired, and if I sleep more I also get tired. The perfect time for me to go to sleep is between 21:00 and 22:00 :)

    On number 3... I use alarmy. You can set it to where you have to take a picture to turn it off, and you can set it to limit how many times you hit snooze

    I think I would actually be a good morning person, just because my anxiety likes to keep me up and I’m a light sleeper. I’m also starting my new job on Tuesday so I’ll have to be waking up around 5-6 am Monday-Friday and I need to get into a routine!     Really practical and useful advice. I’ve been watching similar videos and they talk about things that I could never incorporate into my morning routine. It’s hard enough to get up early not being a morning person. What you talk about here are all doable tips that any person can start doing. I would add stopping the day around 9 pm, to be in bed around 10 pm. If I don’t consciously do this, I keep going without even noticing and that makes it harder to start early the next day. Great video. Thank you.

    1. 10-15 minute cleanup the night before.
    It will take me 10-15 weeks to clean my room alone.
    2. Plan your day the day before.
    Uhem😌 School runs my plans.
    3. Put your alarm away
    I sleep on the top bunk and my phone falls off the bed soooooooo...
    4. Be positive
    I'm always negative in the mornings
    5. Set your atmosphere
    Huhhhhhh😪 my family likes the color black so everything I dark...
