Same spring rusted out and broke in my 2001 ford Taurus. Now I know exactly what is required. Thank you for posting the video.
showed exactly what I needed to see. Thanks for taking the time
What's the name of that spring?? I went to ACE and found springs but they didn't spring. They were solid
U just made my trade in worth hundreds more thanks!
Ryan greer no problem dude
That spring is way longer than the original, why did you use such a big one?
Booyah! And done! Will try on my 05 Focus. Thanks for sharing!
1:02 what are thooooooose
I am assuming you are referring to his flip-flops.You can buy them at roses and they are pretty damn comfortable.
A small note: Remember when you reattach the repaired latch on the car, to have the latch all the way up via the slotted bolt holes.
Just replace the latch itself I know you’ve fixed it by now but grab a replacement latch and install and problem solved
I have about the same car, I'll come back and see the rest too
Video too shaky. Plus, that new spring looks like it can slip off easy.
Exactly my problem...and year Merc. Sable (same same)
