I really like the blacked out Freewheeler… a lor but at $30,000, I will like it from a distance. Come on HD, $30 G’s for a Freewheeler…$52 G’s on the CVO? HD must be marketing the CVO to CEO’s!!
The only thing the release video inspired me to do was go out for another ride over my paid-for Harley and enjoy it that much more. These new prices are insane.
1. Shorter presentation was much better, we didn't need extra fluff from celebrities. 2. Breakout returning with a 5 gal tank is great! 3. I don't know why but the RG3 is a home run looks wise 4. The S in Sportster S clearly stands for "Speedo"
As for mid year releases, I’m still hoping for a Road King ST. Also, look for the 60’s Road King Icon model to be revealed at the 120th Anniversary event in Milwaukee. Lastly, kudos to HD regarding their 2023 launch event, for NOT trotting out a bunch of Hollywood types, rappers, athletes, politicians, etc. telling us what bikes we should like and buy. I think the core HD customer can figure out what bike appeals to them without some so called celebrity telling us what to think. Great job here Man Mountain Mike on the launch rundown. What do you think about the new wheels on the Breakout?
Dealers have an allotment, so they order the most profitable bikes that are in high demand. I did. I really like the line up, so far. Make plans for the 120th celebration at the H-D museum. i strongly feel there will be more bikes and product launched and maybe an all new model. Thank you for sharing, Ride Free
I was really excited to see the road glide fairing on the freewheeler . I would definitely buy that if possible. Also kinda dig the anniversary color and graphics. Thanks for the video Mike.
Thanks for the update mate. I am surprised with this actually, I was expecting same bikes, different colours but this is cool. I do like that they brought back the Breakout, and now with that 117 ooooooh! Nice. Great job as always mate. ✌️🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦
I would have thought they would make everything 114 and drop the 107, make the specials 117 and for the 120 anniversary make all the CVO models 120cu. There are plenty of very good 120 kits on the market and still have the 131 for those who want something over and above a cvo
My Nightster has been working fine since early December 2022 Almost fully customized, now just need proper aftermarket air cleaner and I'll dyno tune it Got full system exhaust installed, back fires every engine braking Wish I can put Nightster S's TFT display and Cruise Control in mine, and it would be great upgrade
i have never liked the breakout , but have changed my mind totally when looking at that orange scheme , other vlogers have also said it is their favourite of the 2023 , you are the first i have noticed pointing out it has the bigger tank , this goes a long way to making it look different , i also like the red on the annyv models ..
@@RidingintheOzarks Yep. I can't see many in UK paying an extra $7.5k for the same bike, when they see the price over there. Shame, I believe the 2023 Breakout is finally the near perfect Harley for me, but I'll not be buying new from Harley again. Great channel by the way 👍
Good-Day: Ride the Ozarks; What is disturbing is that a customer will only be able to order the New Revamped Freewheeler and Road-Glide 3.This will probably be the same for the upcoming ing CVO's. And another thing with the Revamped Freewheeler is that they ate only producing 1,500 for 2023, What's up with that????
Sportster not really gone it lives on in the streetbob and knightster under a different name with a higher price ..... until they totally sell all sportster s models and not produce anymore of them then I don't think it's totally gone just a new look with the s ..... and the original being the bob and knight mark up in price for them since people would be mad with a price hike with the sportster name.... because those are your beginner bikes for new riders apparently
For me it was a waste of 19 minutes. They stuck a frame mounted fairing on a freewheel and brought back a bike from a couple years ago, whoa how innovative. Did like the new 120th logo design. When Harley finally realizes that innovation is what the younger generations want it’ll be to late.
I agree that went for easy wins, nothing blew me away. I do think the RG3 is a good business move and I think bringing the breakout back with a 5 gallon tank is good move also. Putting the TFT on the Sportster S with Cruise taller bars and a good move all but these are 3 good moves that are easy and low risk. I wonder how much they are saving for the 120th celebration...
I was disappointed with the presentation. They didn't spend enough time on most of the bikes, especially the rg3 is what here it is, and moved on smh. It would have been nice to see they break down each anniversary model too
I like the red on the anniversary models but am not keen on the Ox Blood inserts on the seats and bags. The Road Glide 3 interest me quite a bit but I have one major problem, Harley wants a $1200 surcharge because of "supply chain issues" Something they effectively admitted was padding their bottom line because their supply issues are not really an issue. So I am not buying until the surcharge is removed. I won't even go to a dealer. However, this does not mean I did not check with a dealer I already bought a bike from... Road Glide 3 in blue .... and guess what they told me. 45k OTD on average!!!! Holy markup. The Breakout is kind of cool but I did not care for the front wheel. Supposedly the RDRS will be available on Breakout, Low Rider S, and Low Rider ST, this year. I can explain a major reason to kill the 975 PA.... cost. More than a decade ago BMW had both 1100 and 850 cc boxer twins and many models had a choice of engines. They did this mostly to be in compliance with some european licensing laws related to horsepower. They discontinued them for the simple reason it cost them nearly the same amount to build either one but no one would pay 1100 prices for an 850. I suspect Harley could not create or would not create enough separation in price between the current Pan Am and the 975 and I based that on pricing for the Nightster and you can imagine how much you have to add to that bike to make it a Pan Am 975
Cause I rode one and it did nothing for me emotionally, and let’s not pretend Polaris did it first…and CVO would be more akin to the Indian Elite models so if we are going to compare let’s try and get apples to apples. Indian Challenger Elite is 36k and let’s be honest most CVO’s are for people that don’t care what the price is.
@@RidingintheOzarks challenger I test rode as well the engine is peppy and you are getting a lot of bike for the money. 52k is a bit extreme in my view Harley is focusing too much on their CVO line which most can't afford
Brad Richards said during the launch that there will be more CVO’s this year. Just not when they will be released. HD is purposely creating limited production numbers. You always want what you can’t have. Less supply more demand.
Die hard Harley fan left wondering what the heck. Colors are horrific. Need to know your pronouns for these colors. It is sad the only colors going for them are white and black. Slapped ugly paint on the same bikes; embarrassing for the company. I apologize for being negative but come on Harley. Was looking forward to a great CVO line up. Was looking forward to a larger displacement engine. Getting rid of the Road King was a dumb idea. They should have upgraded it to a 114. Who do they think their customers are? Over 50k for the only CVO they offer is ridiculous. Enough ranting.
I like the break out too. I'd like to see the 975 pan am more of a sport tourer actually. I still think the Bronx design should have been the Sporter 🤷♂️
Road Glide 3, some changes to the Freewheeler, a new version of the Nightster and the return of the Breakout with some changes, these are the major items which don’t really speak to me. None of those are bikes I would purchase. I like the looks of the Breakout, but it will not be the right bike for my style of riding. Now, the anniversary color is a great one. Some of the past anniversary colors were not this good. I cannot justify paying over $50k for a CVO when my riding style has me averaging 2,000 miles per month. So, really, there was almost nothing in this launch for me. I was a little disappointed. I love Harley. I will not buy anything else. I almost never say anything negative about them because I like them so much. Still, yesterday’s launch was disappointing.
Still waiting on the Bronx model ! The anniversary paint sure increased the prices if that’s what you were wanting , and the CVO was a big increase thanks Mike
The only thing Harley did great was launching the low rider st in 2022. But this year no icons, no 131 etc I mean launching event was bad in my opinion.
underwhelming in my opinion. Same shit different paint! I was hoping for a touring bike with the Revmax motor this year. Hate to say it, i may have to give the Indian pursuit another look. More bang for the buck.
Another great video, Mike! For the most part, I love the anniversay scheme..except for the black/red seat and saddlebags on the heritage. If I was buying I'd have to go with SG Special...but sadly, my wife says that I'm cut off for at least 3 years. It was ironic to listen to the CEO talk about all of the reasons we ride Harley's..YES! But, those things have nothing to do with E-bikes, that he said they would be making entirely "within a decade". WTF? Also, did it seem odd to watch a video of "Harley through the years" and NOT see Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, Rob Halford or Evel Knievel?
What 2023 Model do you like the Best?
Breakout 117
None
The anniversary Fat Boy is gorgeous.

I think it looks good! It was my favorite looking bike of the event… in Baja Orange!
That trike would make a great winter machine on ice and snow.

Thanks!! The Trike is kinda cool effort on there part
They did a limited edition in 2007 on a Elvis Presley Electra/Hydra Glide I believe, so it would make sense to make a limited RoadKing for the King!
More to come

Only 50k for the top of the line CVO Anniversary Road Glide WHAT A GREAT DEAL
good morning you did not say any thing wrong keep up the good work
I was expecting a 120 ci for the 120th. Didn't see it. Sad.
I never thought they would do that to much work with EPA involved…
Glad I got my 2022 Electra Glide Standard. Touring platform without all the unnecessary shit in my opinion.
How do you like the Electra Glide standard overall? What was price new?

In UK, 2023 Breakout in black will set you back $29,300 at current exchange rates. Time to find a new brand!
US MSRP is 21k plus $750 surcharge, my local MSRP dealer sold 2 in last couple weeks

new models?= new paint job on existing bikes
No Harley Bronx this Year. I think they will not come with the bronx anymore.
Look for the Bronx to appear with the Revo Max engine in a smaller displacement engine like a 975. Keep up the faith Bro.

Most likely announced at the anniversary celebration. Rumor is they're not going into production until June.
