L-23's incident report: "On 09/12/2024, at approximately 2:02 PM, I was traveling southbound on I-49 at the 68 Mile Marker in the right lane. I looked in my driver's side mirror and saw a sport bike and a BMW in the left lane at normal speeds. When the two were right across from me. They both took off at a very high rate of speed. I could see the sport bike was a mint green color and the BMW was a dark green color. I advised dispatch that I was in pursuit of a sport bike and a BMW southbound on I-49 at the 68 Mile Marker. The BMW went around the sport bike and took the I-49 67A south exit ramp and the sport bike took the same exit. I was able to catch up to the sport bike, but lost sight of the BMW. We reached the intersection of Highway 112. The sport bike went north on Highway 112 in and out of traffic before fleeing onto Van Asche Drive eastbound. The bike went between two vehicles before traveling onto Greg Street southbound. The sport bike was in and out of traffic before turning onto Drake Street westbound. I could see that the sport bike went westbound in the eastbound lane of traffic. The sport bike fled to the intersection of Drake and Garland Avenue. I lost sight of the bike in the heavy traffic and ended the pursuit. Myself and other troopers canvas the area. We were unable to locate the vehicles and suspects."
Loving and appreciating all the videos, thank you James. Hopefully, they will get him eventually. Awesome work, Cpl Benton🎉 Please stay safe and Blessed everyone. ❤❤️🇺🇲🚑
NST, James, family and friends, great to see everyone. Thank you James for all you do. One theme seems to travel with these biker riders, and it’s not brain power! Eventually they get caught one way or another! 💙❤️💙
*Sr. Cpl. Desmond Benton* wrote his bio for the Arkansas State Police Facebook page in March 2016. WhyIWearTheBadge Benton began his law enforcement career in 1992 in Oklahoma. In 1998, he was commissioned as an Arkansas State Trooper, which he said was always his lifelong dream. Benton started in Troop F, then transferred to Troop H. He transferred to Troop L, where he is now, in 2012. Benton said his mission is to "get drunk drivers and criminals off the highways... and to serve and protect the people in the State of Arkansas."
This is interesting. This trooper - _Desmond_ Benton - is L-23. There is also a pursuit video that James posted in July of last year with Sr. Cpl. _Earnest_ Benton, who is L-18. I can't find much info online about Earnest.
Thank you wisdomrules for going the extra mile to get us info on the troopers. Sr. Cpl. Benton sounds like a great trooper and it sounds like his career has been very successful. Thanks again. Stay safe. 😎
I hope that biker realizes how lucky they are and slow their a$$ down! Wild pursuit for sure. Nice picture at the end and music is awesome! Thank you James for all you do. Stay safe everyone. 😎
The trooper had his chance to block him in or knock him off the bike when the motorcyclist couldnt get it in gear.. chasing a bike at break neck speeds in traffic is not safe for anyone
I ride here in nwa and have a black bike and the same helmet. Even though in the report it says it was a green bike the troopers have been looking at me and stopping short at red lights behind me now it all makes sense. I would never run i have to much respect for people to do something that stupid.
If they know how fo handle it, the nimble sportbike has the advantage over the police cruiser every time. Ones who can’t ride always get caught when they pull a stupid and crash out.
Its dumb to chase motorcycles unless its a volant felony which speeding is not. This Trooper is known to stop and give tickets with out getting them on radar. Seen this 1st hand someone should investigate his stops and citations.
Why are we chasing motorcycles like its GTA? All while endangering every civilian along the way? Was this a known criminal ir did the officer just get his feelings hurt because the guy didnt stop when he said to. ASP has zero care for public safety showit shows. Seems like everyday I am sent yet another example of very poor judgement and alot of risk for very little reward.
@@stevenjanssen8182 Wow, you must be a rocket scientist to figure that out. Sorry, but you asked for that. Look, the content provided here is also available on similar sites, but this site has excellent video editing and takes the extra step to give us speed using the GPS dataset. I appreciate the extra time and effort, but when other sites start providing this, my allegiance will change to avoid the obnoxious (to me) intro. This is called constructive criticism.
It's a shame those plates aren't removable or else criminals could go to any superstore or mall parking lot and quickly change out theirs with a similar make and commit crimes in someone else's name... oh wait

A day without a high speed pursuit is like a day without Sunshine 😊

God you could hear the disappointment in Trooper Bentons voice scooter rider got lucky today but his time will come thanks NST for another great video
Thank you for all your hard work in bringing us these videos!! Much appreciated! Love from South Africa! ❤
I was on top of Fayetteville auto park when this happened. Bike went north trooper went south lol 😂

Beautiful sunset shot, NST!
Nice driving by Trooper & love to hear those mopar hemis ❤️
the Durango and Charger AWD pursuit package are no joke.
I’m amazed at how people don’t pull over or stop to get out of the officer’s way!

Hard to catch someone with a death wish. Trooper gave it a valiant effort. STAY SAFE OUT THERE TROOPER.
Won't argue with that.
His luck will run out sometime.
He ain't legally on the road too....that is why he run.
Thank you James! I appreciate everything you do for us ❤.
Wannabe Valitino Rossi 🤦♂️
It is guys like him that give bikers a bad name.
Exactly! Save that stuff for the track before ya end up more like a Nicky Hayden than a Rissi.
Honestly would have went after the BMW. Just saying. He brought you where he had the advantage. The BMW would have been the smarter Prey.
all that crazy driving at the end just to chase a ghost good job
It would be cool if someone caught the green BMW.
Probably woulda been better off to let the bike go and stopped the BMW. More likely to catch them tban the sport bike. Lol
Wrong choice by the trooper. A BMW traveling a 150mph is far mor dangerous that a motorcycle traveling at the same speed.
Better chance of sticking with the car too
Yeah. Bike was speeding, but not reckless. Just fast. They knew how to handle that bike. BMW woulda been the easier catch.

I know the intro music with Jasper but who’s the new Outro music by? @NST James 🤘😎🤘
Jasper!
3:10 Bro... do you even shift?
The bike hit a false neutral, couldn’t find a gear
For a bike, instead of stop sticks, they could just throw a 2 x 4 out there in the road.

Those bikes get the Troopers every time..better luck next time.
Not every time. I've seen more than one go down.

Can't shift that bike for shyte!
HELLO AGAIN !!
👋🏻😅
@Juan_van_Eeden977 Hi Again Juan!
Plot twist: biker was actually running interference for the dump trailer...
Should have just went after the bmw
Seems like that would have been a good time for the dude on the bike to get out of dodge for a while.

Your thoughts on the motorcyclist?
He just wanted the bike. Rider has clean record
Desmond…112 runs north south bro not east west so he is going North on 112 lol
Enjoy the videos, but your intro music is getting old in a hurry. Sorry
You can fast forward it to like 1:40 and his videos gett fully underway around that time.! I like the music though..

👍👍👍
Even if he got away they’d just show up at your house later since you left your license plate on. Stupid.
Except, if it was stolen🎉 Also they wouldn't be able to prove that person was on the MC🤷♀️

At 2:25 he says "no tags" so they won't be going to that bikes house anytime soon
Find something better to do road pirates
Coward got away 😂
guy is a skid mark waiting to happen
OLD 600?
Nah it’s a tuned 1k
